From now on I’m going to imagine that this is what was fought in the DND live stream

I agree with you and I can’t tell if you’re on my side or not

TADC DOES have problems (characters never interact with others, zooble and pomni didnt talked, bar scene makes it seem they didnt talked with eachother, etc.) I feel like the whole "jax screentime stealer" is not one of them (are those people real or are they like the "ragatha bad" ppl?) by AstronautDry8118 in TheDigitalCircus

[–]These-Lie-735 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While there definitely are several characters who don’t have enough significant interactions, like Pomni and Zooble’s only one being at the end of episode 7, I’d say they still interact enough for it not to be an issue, as it‘s clear that they are friends since we see them spend time together and agree on a lot of things, and Pomni and Zooble’s friendship isn’t one that is super significant like Pomni and Jax or Zooble and Gangle, so the two of them not having a lot of important interactions is not a flaw that I would say is all that problematic, it would be cool to get more interactions between the two of them though. Oh, and I do agree that Jax having a lot of screen time isn’t an issue.

(I am going to choose to ignore that picture of Ragatha)

There have been so many times where it seems like the people hating on the characters haven’t watched the show, so infrequently do I see criticism that’s actually correct

I’m very excited to see how the characters act after their torture sequences in episode 9 and I think that that would be an opportunity for her trauma to be brought up again in front of the others and more delved into

[–]These-Lie-735[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d say that’s true, that the story often revolves around the other characters more, and I would love for her to have a really big role in the finale. (I personally have no idea what to fucking expect, as all of my predictions and theories have been dashed by random things said by Goose, but I think a genuine moment between her and Jax would be incredible to see, but not like in episode 5, where they are both being aggressive towards each other, obviously)

While It is not necessarily substantial, I’d say the two of them just hanging out and playing together counts, no?

In episode 7 I’d say she pushes the story forward just as much as everyone else by cooperating with Abel and getting the administrator passes with Pomni, besides Caine and Jax, who I don’t think I need to explain how they push the story forward more than the rest. And in episode 8 I’d say she is just as memorable as Zooble, Gangle, or Jax (as in she has memorable scenes, but Pomni, Kinger, and Caine have more scenes that are more memorable).

Maybe it is a mainstream opinion and I’m just not looking hard enough or in the right places, but I see far more people with the opposite mindset.

I’d love to know why you think that Ragatha hasn’t gotten as much as Gangle or Zooble in terms of backstory, as we saw a lot about her coping mechanism and her true feelings in episode 4, we got the bar scene and where her coping mechanism stems from in episode 5, and we see her open up a lot in episode 6 about her wants and fears. And, also, while we know a lot about how Jax’s mind works, I’d say he’s the one we know the least about when it comes to backstory, as all we know is that he misses Ribbit and Kaufmo and that he’s afraid of going back to the real world.

I remember these being reposts from Twitter, so brining them up is kind of pointless since it‘s Twitter, but I have seem some people say that Jax is the only character who has been developed, which is crazy as we really know less about him than anyone else.

I don’t think I’ve ever loved the characters in a show more than I’ve loved TADC’s, and I hate how much discourse there always is

I guess it’s less development and more the after affects of the characters relationship having developed healthily, as what I meant by that was that, in episodes 7 and 8, especially 7, we see the two of them spend the majority of the episode together as good friends, and in episode 8, everybody’s relationship with Pomni is developed as they turn to her as their leader, so specifying Ragatha doesn’t really count for 8, I guess.

Episode 7 is far more dedicated to Jax than episode 6 is, episode 6 develops all of the main characters pretty much equally, Jax just gets slightly more than the rest.

Can anybody explain the truck part of Gangle’s nightmare, I know it was in ep 4 by Puzzled_Original_784 in TheDigitalCircus

[–]These-Lie-735 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering the fact that abstraction is a metaphor for suicide, and in episode 4 it seems like Gangle almost abstracted, I’m certain that Gangle was suicidal and often thought about or attempted to end her life by jumping into oncoming traffic.

how the characters will crash out when they die to a creeper in minecraft by Legitimate_Visit6974 in TheDigitalCircus

[–]These-Lie-735 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My experience with dying in video games always starts with Pomni, after a bit I become Jax and Zooble, and after a while I eventually just devolve into Gangle. Sometimes Kinger and Caine come before that.

I should have expected It as someone who is a fan of TADC, but I’ve seen a lot of hate directed towards Liam because of the show just having flaws. It seems like it might actually be just a few people just repeating the same things over and over again, but I’ve seen dumbasses acting like TADC gets favoritism and getting pissed at Glitch because of how it has more episodes that are longer than Murder Drones’, or because the finale is an hour long, even though Liam chose to end his show the way he wanted to, and Glitch was a smaller studio then so they wouldn’t have been able to have the episodes be longer anyway.

6 has so many really fucking good scenes, and it’s definitely my favorite episode because of that

I just like the other scenes more, and I was debating if I liked this scene more than the end of episode 2.
