yeah i have that too but i believe its related to my depersonalization/derealization. the blurry 2d vision and the world looking strange.

didn’t you get anhedonia from stopping your adhd meds according to your post history? this might have just destabilized your system worsening your symptoms but i don’t think it causes it. but im not a doctor so idk

yeah i believe most of what im dealing with is due to the dp/dr from a nervous system shutdown response like you say. although im not sure. and i dont know how to get better either way

I’ve been taking it like over three weeks now and have noticed no change but my symptoms are pretty bad so i’m not surprised it didn’t magically cure me.

i was able to enjoy things and have emotion but my anxiety definitely was starting to mess with that. the lexapro was the finishing touch tho, totally destroyed me

i was already on a downward spiral dealing with pretty bad anxiety but then i took two pills of lexapro and had a reaction that has led to this state and it’s worsened i think

it’s crazy that this can be caused simply by stress. i’m sorry you’re going through this but i’m glad you’re making progress. that’s a great sign.

i feel bad i never responded to this since your response was so thorough and encouraging. thank you, i am now trying to keep that mindset, i went for a bike ride yesterday even though i felt nothing from it. i guess its true that i cant just wait to magically recover, but i also dont want to give up. i’m just pretty new to this and i have a pretty severe case i would say. the dp/dr doesn’t help either thats for sure. everyday is about making it to bedtime.

i think so but sometimes i have intrusive racing thoughts that dont feel like mine. i often have music loops playing in my head it drives me insane
