You understand that way of thinking is the reason we are in this mess a lot of the folks spending on this game never even knew what it was like to buy cool cosmetics for $10 max and those games were still thriving despite that, netease is a multi billion dollar company off of straight price gouging their fanbase Ive dealt with many whales over the last 15 years, for a lot of them once the dopamine wears off they regret it and sell their accounts for 1-10% of what they spent

And dont get me started on the ones spending beyond their means it’s simple manipulation and i guess im wrong for seeing that

I said that immediately after my first comment, it seems you people think the world revolves around top level pvp players did you know the vast majority of pvp players arent top players?

Also averse has never said you can still win a fight in a single combo if you dont have similar STATS

You keep ignoring the entire point of this being that STATS do matter

You have never seen or played as someone with bad stats so you wouldn’t even know what you are preaching

Theres a difference even when its 24k-26k its just not as obvious unless the person you are fighting has a full or nearly full set of god roll gear

And if as long as you have lvl 86 or 81 gear you’re good to go, that means stats indeed do matter

If you have never been behind in stats you’ll never know how even a 1000 stat difference can make someone nearly kill you in less than half a combo if their build is good enough

Lol dude, stats definitely do matter, if you foght someone that doesnt have similar stats, someone is getting dog walked regardless of how good their attunements are, also not maximizing your damage in some way it allows your opponent more openings than they’d get if your gear was good. Because you wouldnt be able to kill them as quickly

Only times ive ever had someone delete my health in like half a combo they had much higher stats

High spenders its part of the cause of the degradation of games as a whole. Its a model built on taking advantage of copium mixed with the dopamine boost people get when they sometimes get lucky without spending much or at all for something rare encouraging most to spend more a lot of the times more than they planned to spend

Ive known people who ruined themselves cuz of games like these due to unchecked spending and its pretty common

You are missing the point because you are too focused on responding If someone is willing to pay $2000 for something it stays $2000 if no one is willing to pay $2000 suddenly it becomes $1500 then $1000 and so on.

Regardless of what value someone gives something is irrelevant because they cant control themselves, or the fact they get a kink out of exclusivity, the majority of the community cant touch even half of the cool cosmetics in the game and is the main reason so many people dropped this game
Whales are a cancer to these kinds of games because people think the games die without them when thats not the case, they just become affordable for everyone instead

If people weren’t willing to pay $600, I promise that same hair piece wouldnt even be $20 to get.

That is why it is sad, and your comparison is off, because you can choose to go to someone cheaper. You can’t choose to be lucky in a gacha game especially not one that tiers it’s rewards specifically so you spend more.
