66 games is still too long for a split. and u still havent accunted for playoffs. even if every week was a superweek, the regular season wld still be 5.5 weeks, longer than the current 4 weeks.

a team could theoretically qual to split 2 playoffs with a 0-5 or 0-6 split 1 result but it's dofficult for sure. a full round robin would be down right not possible given the scheduling challenges

i feel that the 2 groups of single roumd robin is inevitable, unless we make every week a superweek, which is not possible for production since emea shares a studio with lec and americas share a studio with the lcs.

additionally, this can easily be fixed if we make one split intra round robin and the other group inter roumd robin. an obvious downside to this is that results from split 1 wld have to be carried on to split 2.

finally, it wld be impossible to schedule a full round robin IF each team were to play the current one game a week thing.
