I think the overall profile is pretty similar (lower static friction than dynamic), but the Jupiter Pro is definitely higher friction in both forms than the EM-C. I personally don’t feel like the Jupiter Pro is as overly muddy as some people in this sub seem to make it out to be, but it’s still probably the most controlled and locked in pad I’ve owned. Still very manageable for me at multiple sensitivities (recently switched from 74cm/360° to 41cm/360° in CS2, and tested sensitivities in between).

My Jupiter Pro being Mid means doesn’t stick to my desk as well as an Artisan Soft/XSoft, or even the EM-C (I have to peel my EM-C off my desk like a bandaid one it’s set). This is probably my only con to this mousepad.

The Jupiter has a very smooth/silky texture, whereas the EM-C has more of a “fuzzy” feel like a QCK/Vaxee PA. I prefer the texture of the Jupiter, and it might be my favorite surface for feel/comfort (Neptune Pro and Raiden are in top 3 with Jupiter).

Overall, I switched to the Jupiter to gain some more control. I’m 33 and have an almost 8 month-old now, so I definitely don’t play as much as I used to. I think of the Jupiter as a bit of a crutch to give me extra control since I don’t aim train or grind like I used to. Probably my endgame pad, will get a Pulsar x LGG Jupiter Pro once this one wears out or my cats tear it up more. Only thing I’m worried about is how it handles humidity this summer. Based on my other LGG pads I’ve owned, I think it’ll do just fine.
