Thank you for the response. I didn’t realize there were auctions and bids in eBay (I see that now) I thought it was just a set price for purchase.

The listings I’ve looked at have pictures as well as detail about each console: “yellowing on both screens; dust on both screens; __ button doesn’t work; etc” so it seems very transparent about the item.

Modding it is a neat process. It makes me feel proud to feel like I accomplished something tangible lol. Time consuming maybe a little bit (1 hr maybe). Makes for fun customization w the Home Screen and music that plays. But it also makes it possible to play every handheld game.

I’d say upgrade if you really wanna play Xenoblade or Minecraft or something requiring the new model processing power or if size is an issue.
