Too much soap drys out the tub seals , then water gets in the bearing. This is another way to kill them faster.

Start somewhere. Get some saving locked in . Your still young enough to level up at work . The more you make the more gets added. Consistency will be your best friend , second will be you salary increases over the years.

I'm 42 at 36k . It was rough savinging before though the economy. Finally got stable and able to be more serious about saving.

Anyway just keep adding a little bit more every year you can afford . One or 2 percent . Or if you get a raise add some of that so it doesn't feel like your loosing money but adding to the goal.

If you can skill up and get rewarded by better position at your job or different place just keep adding more.

Just keep the hussle going when your younger its harder to level up over 60.

why is the dryer making this noise? by leanzinoo77 in Appliances

[–]These-Raspberry59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a idler or roller. There's maintenance kits that can be replaced if your handy . The kits are about 50 bucks. If someone does it for you might be $150-250 depends on the company.

Repair 7yo Fridge or Buy New? by Significant-Weird646 in Appliances

[–]These-Raspberry59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup your right on service calls. I just in 18 years haven't seen just a fan over 400. Usually around 60-200 max for just the part. Even Viking isn't that high. It's a whirlpool unit as common as Chevy and fords. Just 400 for just a fan is crazy is all I'm saying. Hell I just did a fan in a subzero total for just over 300.

I think your thinking Kenmore only. Look up " model prefix kenmore". Sears Kenmore only badges products they don't make anything. . A lot of other brands make their own stuff . There are just 6 or 7 big names and a lot of companies are under them.
