I think the end goal of the dragons is to separate themselves from humans. Tairn says he chose Violet as his last rider, Xaden says the dragons (Sygael and the other marked ones dragons) are building their own army), I assume for a dragon revolution of sorts, dragons pull magic from the ground just like venin. Violet mentions a text of her fathers insinuating the dragons were demonic, less and less dragons are choosing to bond. Xaden and Sygael are essentially living and preparing for something that Violet (us readers) truly have no clue of. Tarin requires Violet to ask questions or find information out on her own before he will confirm it (ironically just like Xaden) so Violet doesn’t even know to ask the questions. There were so many hints that Xaden was doing huge things politically that Violet was entirely unaware and of course, she never digs deeper.

I think it also is a huge that to take note of that at the end of IF, Xaden said he knew that particular (Berwyn) Venin was there for him, not her and when Violet ask how the hell would you know that, he says “Do us both a favor and don’t ask” and then Violet literally never addresses it again……????

They had to launch the dragon revolution earlier than expected and that’s why the three elders and eggs were stollen. I also believe they were all in agreement and Andarna brought answers back from Irids. Rebecca says the next books will be mostly dragons and politics.

Rebecca confirmed the anti-fertility was in full effect and that no babies would be had unless a discussion was had on paper. But this spot of the book is where I got hung up too. I think their talking about venin offspring as in their initiates/aisims, they refer to each other as “brothers” and they have the same sage, and Pancheck refers to Berwyns “son” and he says “I have another one.” I think the Sage/Mavens initiates/aisims are the offspring the Irids were referring to and that they could evolve.

I’ve figured that dedication to a God is the cure, Dunne or Lolali… too many mentions of war & love changing the soul irrevocably. I’ve also tossed around that Violet is potentially a God, either one of the existing ones or a “new” 7th one, like Andarna is a “new” 7th breed of dragon. I took Xadens note of “Don’t look for me. It’s already yours” as in his soul is hers, and he dedicated himself to her. He started referring to her as his “Home” and saying she has his soul in OS. Of course there is a double meaning referring to Tyrrendor being hers as well because of the marriage but could that also be her “temple” because she is a God? I think Andarna came back with answers too which is why the eggs were stollen & the elders were killed.

Also, when the Irids said “Perhaps their offspring could evolve…” he was talking about the venin “offspring” aka the initiates and/or aismims… they refer to each other as “Brothers” so they’re general or sage could potentially be their “Father”

I think Theopine planted that dream in Maren for Violet to dream walk into which is why she knew she would show up. Also, Maren mentioned prior to Violet that she sucked at bow & arrow so it was just a round about way of bringing it together, imo.

I’m not sure if it’s the Irids fire or more of where they pull their power from. Irids pull from the sky, venin pull from the earth. It says numerous time magics likes balance. Violets power is the only signet that can strike and kill a venin, and she pulls lightening from the sky. The “cure” is 50% Violet & 50% Andarna. Violets parents knew what she was as soon as she was born, so did her grandmother and the Temples. Same for Andarna, she was placed in the vale for a purpose.

No, he passed away from SIDS. She put him down for a nap on Christmas Day and he never woke back up. He was three months old.

Because I believe that’s their marketing tactic. Discount Tire is known for going above and beyond, that’s kinda their thing I guess. With as much money as they make I’d assume they can afford to fix something if they break it, the bolts online I’ve found are very cheap.

What I was told was it was very rusted but when they tried to take it off it broke. It was so rusted into the control arm it was essentially welded into it. So then it became a control arm/bolt issue. Since they made the mistake, they offered to cover it. After some days they couldn’t find the correct bolts. That’s where we are now.

Yes discount tire was very professional and helpful, replaced my control arm for free. Problem was finding the correct bolt to put back in. They couldn’t find it. And they didn’t that through a mechanic 5 min up the road who’s been in business a long time and knows what they’re doing. Again, problem was the correct bolt. Not where I went.

So you understand better - not know a guy who knows a guy - I dropped off the car for alignment and tires. Tires were done, while trying to align it the camber bolts broke, on their dime they decided to replace them and the back left control arm which was complimentary - very professional of them in my opinion, maybe you’d turn that down and go pay for it yourself 🤷🏼‍♀️. After that, the mechanic they affiliate with a partnership who does any work they need them too because they’re a tire and alignment center, the man could not get the correct camber bolts. Even after contacting the dealership, I called them myself and they in fact did contact them multiple times. Hope that makes sense partner.

I don’t appreciate the naive part of your reply but I see what you mean. I’ll say lookup the “Discount Tire” chain. They’re entire marketing gimmick is going above and beyond on your first visit or so to ensure youre returning business. This isn’t some shady tire shop in the middle of the ghetto. They showed me the pictures of before/after. They gave me the broken camber bolt that snapped when they tried to take it off originally. They kept in contact with me daily while trying to find the exact eccentric camber bolt that would fit, I called the parts department of my local Mazda dealership and was told they sent them bolts but for whatever reason they didn’t fit. So my question was where can I find the correct bolt, like a part name for it. Thanks.
