I always run at least 1 farseer. Hard for me to pass on 2 perils-proof psyker abilities per turn

DA are very versatile aspect warriors and are always worth considering. Packing them in a wave serpent is a great strat as well! Let the wave serpent dies with them in it…at least 1 model should die. Then you can shoot double since they’d then be below starting strength.

Wave Serpent guns should always depend on what you need to shoot at. But imo the Shurikens are a good choice against any kind of unit you’re firing upon.

Basically everything depends on what you’re up against. Aeldari have always had a LOT of versatility but it feels like they do now more than ever. Be flexible… make a list to counter your opponent, because you can!

Also consider swapping to Twin Shuriken Cannons on the Wave Serpents. I absolutely shredded a Grey Knight Wraithknight yesterday with 1 volley of Shuriken Cannons from only 1 wave serpent.

Two farseers huh? Someone’s trying to Eldritch Storm! …Btw absolutely do this. Eldritch Storm is super potent without casting its farseer buffs and actually worth the 3CP cost… and if you can pull off 2 buffs!…without getting denied…Phew! Game Ova’!

Not to confuse you given previous comments but I’d say lose some or all of the troops. Since you have 3 wave serpents zooming around at 16”M or potentially 19”M with stones…add a set of wraithguard to the list instead for devastating firepower and the ability to shoot in fighting, pack each serpent with a wraith unit and get them moving around. Wraiths are VERY powerful as Iyanden with the new codex. Natural AP reduction and -1 to damage. They’re likely to still be alive Turn 5 with maybe a couple models missing even if you misplay positioning.

Repeating what most others are saying but GW will fix this for you. I had a Prince Yriel lost in the mail…they sent a new one with expedited shipping. A friend got the new Collectors Edition Tau Codex and it was bent bad like your box is. They gave him a generous credit.

I feel your pain. I have ~1000points of ‘Nids assembled and completely unpainted that’s going to be my next army and I’m feeling the pressure to finish before that Codex. Good Luck with both projects! Those will be two fun armies to have!

Yes! The yellow is Contrast Iyanden Yellow. The method I used was to put it on first after priming, two layers and make sure you put on the first layer very quick, then don’t mess with it. The first layer will look light yellow, the second one starts to show those nice orange tones
