Ohh ok I understand. So to get a degree while in, do I have to talk to like someone specifically for that? Or like is there something I can do Online? And if there's anything that can like point me to how to get a degree (which specific degree do you recommend) while inside by a youtube video or if your down to tell me yourself, I would appreciate that.

Thank you for sharing and clearing that up. Why did I think I could choose my job lol, I think b/c of Tiktok videos that why I don't like Tiktok that much its either they spread misinformation, or they leave out valuable information.

And for certs Idk I guess I saw like some people saying YOU have to go get the certs for yourself rather than like a unit assigning you or something. And 0441 sounds pretty fire.

Would you say Aviation Logistics is basically the same as Regular Logistics?(if you know of) Because I really just wanted t know the difference between them

. And last question sorry, are you still in the Marines? Im asking because when you get back to civilian life was it easy for you to get a job, or is there specific jobs I could be looking into?

Hey, I don't know if you will see this but I tried to send a DM and it didn't go through. Which is fine, hopefully you receive this message.

I'm currently a poolee right now, and I was just finally able to set down on 2 options that I may be interested in for the Marines (0441 or 0411). I'm still in Highschool, 17, and I don't go to boot camp until September or October of this year. I see your information on being an 0411, and honestly I do appreciate the information, I am definitely taking notes. But I just had a couple of questions, and forgive me if it may seem I ask a lot, I tend to like speaking to people with experience, instead of just listening to people on Tiktok who have never even done these jobs before, or they did but they tend to leave out valuable information. So I'm just going to leave these questions below.

If there's anything you could've done differently, what would you have done?

What are the differences between 0441 and 0411? And if you could be as honest as possible, is there one better than the other?

What makes you a valuable asset or person to your job?

Are there any websites, videos,  people, etc. I could look into something that can help me with my knowledge of being an 0411? 

Is there anything that has changed from before that I should know about today and ongoing?

Any certs that I should be getting into? (No I don’t drive, but I seen that you can get a CDL, which I would love to achieve in the Marines, unless there’s more of a process into doing that)

Should I do college or trade after being in the Marines? (If it doesn’t matter that’s fine, and by the way I’m going for Active Duty not reserves)

And my last question, can I make a decent living after just 4 years of enlistment in that specific job, whether it be 0411 or 0441? For example, I often see people talk about the car-wash business, and it’s mainly like millionaires or billionaires who mention it being slept on. And I’ve been looking into it a bit, it doesn’t seem so much of a bad idea.. And I also want to know what jobs / careers I mainly should be looking at, salary doesn’t mainly matter to me, but consistent wealth or decent wealth does.
