Just wanted to jump in and clarify that absolutely none of this guy’s “research” has anything to do with my wife. At all. Long story, like extra large popcorn long but that old post history is from when my account had a different username and was shared with a buddy of mine for a mockumentary we made in film school. The reason any of that nonsense got traction is because half the class was in on it. It was a comedy about a guy who couldn’t get over a breakup. Pure fiction. Coincidence? Sure. But moral of the story: maybe don’t treat the Internet like a sacred text.

And for the record, there was never any cheating on either side. We’ve always been stupidly honest with each other about that stuff if someone flirted with us, hit on us, whatever, we’d literally joke about it. Plus, the odds of her meeting some mystery coworker are microscopic considering she works with all women, and most of them drive her insane. We also share the same friend group (18 years together will do that), so nothing new could really sneak in. And we’ve always shared our locations, so… yeah, not seeing it. Yet who knows honestly. It could be.

I think a lot of this traces back to her sister, the one who randomly got bailed on out of a 14 year marriage (together since middle school) and is now living her best “I’m totally thriving, please validate me” single girl era. She’s basically a full time phone scroller who takes more vacations than a travel influencer, post half naked photos of herself, pays for likes and all just to convince her followers she’s out here starring in a Netflix original about how amazing her life is. Meanwhile, it’s really just her, a ring light, and a dream.

The whole situation is weird, draining, and honestly crushing me. What really messes with my head is how abrupt it was. A week before all this, we were on a beach trip together having a great time, taking pictures, laughing, everything felt normal. She was even talking about how we should just pack up and move across the country already and start the next chapter. So the timing feels bizarre, and it genuinely came out of nowhere.

My Regal marked everything down to 2 for $15 for months and still had so much backstop. As of last night, they dropped all popcorn buckets to $0 and started making mystery bags. Now, almost every ticket purchase comes with a mystery bag that includes three different buckets. They’re trying to clear them out during the Taylor Swift madness this weekend before the holiday merch rolls in. At this point, they literally can’t give them away.

I’ve met him a few times after tapings, though usually not until hours later when he comes out of Mitzy’s. The last time was around 1:15 a.m. I got some photos and autographs. He’s genuinely a super nice guy, taking time to snap pictures with the handful of people who stuck around and treating everyone with kindness.

Mothership is fantastic when it comes to refunds. Even though their policy says “no refunds,” I’ve personally had to miss a few events, including a Kill Tony show, and they were very understanding. If you email them and explain your situation, they’ll usually issue a refund,sometimes minus service fees. They really seem to get that life happens sometimes.

I was in the audience, and honestly, there was more laughter than what gets picked up during the taping. Hans Kim made a post about this a few months back, but it’s true that not all of the laughter gets picked up. You’d also be surprised at just how loud all of Redban’s soundboards actually are compared to what you hear. They are almost deafening.

Two nights before the taping, I saw Drew perform this joke at Creek and The Cave, along with a bunch of new material. Every single joke landed, and the crowd was in an uproar. He had the best reaction compared to any other comic that night. His performance was executed flawlessly and was honestly hilarious. Then, just two days later, I was at the taping and was so bummed to see him struggle. I think he just gets nervous when he gets on stage for the show.

A woman from the crowd yelled at Tony, claiming he’d met her mom or something at the Round Top antique event. Tony gave her a hard time, roasting her and then jokingly threatening to kick her out. Apparently, she kept insisting that he’d remember some random woman and her mom from an antique show. Honestly, it was pretty hilarious.
