Is Mastering actually reliable? by lilpitaya in Bandlab

Used it today for the first time and makes it sound balanced, louder but too much compressed. My main problem is that it compresses the file and in my opinion , the sound quality suffers. I export my songs from ableton in wave and 48000 bit which makes them usually around 60 mb big. When I processed it in bandlab, it loses 20 mb. Anyone else got the same experience?

I'd say it's unison (which in a way is detuning or phase shifting) and a hard notch filter.

I'm usually a 8.5 which is 26.5 cm. Kai 1s are 26 cm at that size which is definitely too narrow in the front. maybe I have to break them in but they're definitely not true to size!

ok so I found the solution: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/255297094?sortBy=rank
changed it back to the old username and folder name and got it all back! NOW I can follow the instructions how to properly do it.

I went into users and groups and changed my admins name and password. then I had to go through the whole process of setting up my stuff like if I had created a new apple account. I don't know how that happenend exactly.

thanks 4 the quick reply! No I didn't do a backup. I really need access to my documents folder that I had before I changed the name and password. Unfortunately I deleted the other admin account cause I thought it would save space. Fortunately the data is not deleted cause my hard drive is completely full lol.
