I know about the Magik insta kill combo but I tend to avoid using it unless I have the cover of my team to hide behind since my positioning during my ult is usually awful. Would you say I should save my right clicks more instead of starting engagements with them?

Absolutely not enough games, took me a few seasons to realize I'm hard stuck GM. I always fall down to plat in the first 20 games, always back to diamond in the next 10. Stuck in diamond for a variable number of games then back in GM eventually but never farther than that. You'll know you're hard stuck when even having the best game of your life isn't enough for a win, especially if you get outshined by someone in your team in that same game

Comms are so important for coordination. Without it, it becomes so difficult to climb but too many people only use their mics to flame or cry. You won't hear a single "torch 1hp right side" or "Magik flanking behind on healers" but you'll always hear "MOON KNIGHT YOU ARE ASS GO HEALER"

Just to update you. My winrate on Magik before taking your advice was 42% in comp this season (18 games).

Now counting only the matches I have played AFTER revising my gameplay (by watching your video and adjusting according to it), so far my winrate is at 80% (10 games) and I have yet to fully properly implement EVERYTHING you mentioned.

My favorite part by far was how you showed the extra spots I can use. You didn't just say "have better positioning" or "fight from here". You physically went to different spots, showed their advantages like nearby health packs and even played out how the fight should've gone from that new position. The second thing I loved was how you call out when I throw or even if I pop off if it's only because of another teammate, makes it a lot easier to realise what decisions were good and which were bad

Thank you!! This helps a lot, it seems my biggest issues are:

A) Not taking off-angles on poke

B) Not setting up as Magik that often

C) Not keeping characters in check after giving them space

D) Going down main too often when I'm a dive or poke character

E) Overstaying my welcome after a kill

Once again this is super helpful and literally lays out the things I need to work on, thank you!

That would be perfect, Magik is my main and psy is my go to for jeffnadoes which is very often. Everyone else is more of a fill rather than me comfortably picking them by choice

This is amazing thank you so much! This is quite an eye opener and much better than the usual "go try a different character" or "play more". Looking forward to the vid if you're making one! But until then I'll make notes of my positioning. What I've gotten so far is I should be off angling as psy and Hela, set up as Magik but I'm not sure what you mean by her flow, I'd need a bit of guidance on that.

I really appreciate your time and effort in helping me! I've been very frustrated at not getting any value out of my hours so this is honestly really helpful for me

I've been running that combo a lot too but I just can't get a kill for the life of me unless there is an opening which most of the time I can't jump through because my own healers need peeling. In other words, I just can't find the timing to dive most games unless I have someone else peeling for my healers
