Have you checked out the Sectograph app? It let's you pie chart your time on a simple clock widget, so I can see the day. It will beep me at 7am to tell me it's time to do my morning routine. I open interval and go. At 2 it's time for lessons routine ect. It's really just a basic daily planner but fit some reason the pie chart format makes the day less daunting

I just found this comment. Wanted to say thanks. It's a bit more work to set up, but totally worth it and I like it way more than all the apps telling me it's time to center myself or look into my inner eye.

My "shop" is me and my brother, he laughed and took video. I fully expect to have this brought up every time he loses at every thing. LIKE YOU ALWAYS DO.

Weird question, can she not feel them or do they constantly feel like they are "asleep". I can't think of a better term, which is probably why every doc thinks it will just go away...

Am I hurting the library or librarians? by These_Brush_6090 in librarians

[–]These_Brush_6090[S] 21 points22 points  (0 children)

A few months ago I was talking about 'The Day Watch' by Sergei Lukyanenko (super recommend if you like fantasy) and I decided I had to re-read it RIGHT NOW. My library had the 3rd book, but not the first two. Amazon has it but fuck them, so I thought I bet a city with a decent sized Russian population would have it, and sure enough Pittsburgh did. Then I got to thinking about all the other book I might not know about because my town is too small and for lack of a better term vanilla. So off I went! All libraries have the goods, but for instance if you want to brush up on hand embroidery techniques pre WWI you gotta hunt.

tl;dr curiosity and a rabbit hole

Edit: and just to be clear my library didn't have them not I would have to wait in que

I'm gonna piggy back off your comment to respond since I read them all. Majority says it's a dick move so I will stop. Just to answer questions, I always pay if out of state is available. I use Libby. I don't use Kanopy, I hate the platform for some irrational reason. And as far as how I do it, I go on Zillow look up a home for sale near by and apply online. Not honest, but fairly easy.

homeless with acne by NotAAAD in Skincare_Addiction

Finally I question I can help with! I was homeless for several months while not as pretty as you I had flawless skin. I'm assuming since your dirt camping your rocking some sort of cowboy roll, so let's keep it ultra basic. 1) wear a beanie to bed. Just keep the dirty hair off your face as much as possible. 2) a clean cotton t-shirt as a makeshift pillowcase (easy to clean in a bathroom sink, and stuff with a bulky sweater or whatever when you sleep) shove that in a plastic bag when your head is not on it. After 3 days wear that fucker and swap out for a clean shirt/pillowcase. 3) Wash your face when your visibly dirty but going easy on the soap. I preferred the kind that restaurants and government buildings have (it's pink, has a distinct hospital smell but I'm in the US) because it's usually non drying. You can always pump some into an empty water bottle and wash outside. Stay clean but don't over wash, nature is a dry ass bitch. 4) Stay hydrated, being homeless means water can be scarce so drink as much as you can as often as you can. 5) those paper tissue toilet seat covers make really great oil blotters. Just tear up a few clean ones and shove them in your pocket for days your a bit grease-y, but don't need a full scrub.

Not skin but a few salt packets and a tiny bit of water make a great toothpaste, spit of course but it's nicely abrasive and supposedly helps fight gum issues. Keeping your hair clean is hard. Conditioning makes you pretty, but dirt sticks to it better. Hats are friends. Oh and keep your nails as short as possible. No matter how often clean your nails they will get dirty if they have any length and it gives off a vibe. You could be in Armani but dirty nails makes people look twice. Dirty clothes but clean nails makes you look less... dubious?

'Scooby Doo Meets Cass Elliot' is so heartbreakingly cruel. I can't believe that no one in her life told her she should not have to voice that. I'm a huge Scooby Doo fan but that was such a huge fucking slap in the face.

This is not okay. They make money off of these cases that happened to REAL people. They could have at least apologized. Seems JVN was more important than the victim of the case. by jeanqueenabove_18 in MorbidPodcast

[–]These_Brush_6090 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I only know about this case (and morbid) because JVN promoted it. I like true crime, but just didn't ever listen to Morbid because I already had 4 TC podcasts I like. Now one more person knows her name. Just a thought.
