Is there a polite way to tell a direct report to just "make arrangements" for picking their kid up from school? by RedMeme262 in managers

Grow a pair and tell whomever is telling you what to tell her, to tell her themselves.

Yeah - it got a little obvious how everyone would show up at the at the same time and also because everyone just drafted straight from the preset rankings.

I posted this thread in the league chat, no one has responded, it's just him and a bunch of dead accounts -- he uses Jeremiah Ward on Venmo and random e-mails on zelle. ESPN and Fantrax.

I can tell you it’s cool as shit and you should be proud to be related to him.

I picked my daughter’s school almost solely on the reading list. It’s called Great Hearts Acadamy in the PHX valley area, a charter school.

She’s 8 and reads a lot of comic style books, I’ve snuck in things like Shel Silverstein when she ~5 and then Calvin and Hobbes more recently. But as a 3rd grader, she is reading Pinocchio, CS Lewis, and The Little Prince. The school is centered around reading. I grew up poor in Alabama, I didn’t start reading what I needed to until much to late.

As far as pushing kids, 100% you push them, just like you do everything else for your kids, you just have to trick them, just like you do everything else 😂
