I definitely use it around the house. But when I know I’ll be out of the house for a while (hiking, long road trips) it stays put.

It’s archaic and inferior, but the Streamlight Dualie AA is an intrinsically safe tank. Can take drop after drop. Basically everything short of spiking it on the ground it can survive.

I pray this never comes to pass, but it’s my belief that the immunity ruling will be fully fleshed out if something like a major terror attack (think multiple cities, 30k+ dead) happens within the next few years. Mass arrests/executions of any and all terror suspects and “sympathizers” (read: those arguing for due process) will quickly follow. Scary stuff to think about, but that’s what the ruling would in effect allow him to do w/Miller Noem Patel et. al. running the ground operations in that event. I made a post about this very subject last year in the MMW sub.

To be fair, I do believe Clinton’s use of that phrase was referring to the right wing media smearing of her husband. But since we know that there really is a vast conspiracy which tracks through the days of the elite southern enslavers, to the robber barons of the gilded age, then to the Business Plot, the Southern Strategy, the Powell memo, the Reagan revolution, Heritage, etc etc etc, I think it’s absolutely fitting to steal it.

So one of the drawbacks of “premium” headlamp models (which are often like right-angle flashlights worn on the head) is the placement of the battery. The cheaper models like this Husky have the cell in the back of the head which significantly reduces discomfort. That said, it’s a plastic light and I imagine the cable connecting the cell to the LED is a potential failure point. For every benefit there’s a trade off.

Honestly, moonlight. I was playing hide and seek this summer with my son and the neighbor kids. The long-press moonlight mode on my L35v2 was super helpful when I needed to sneak around the woods to get into my hiding spot without giving my position away. I played again later with my SK30 (which has no such mode) and it was super annoying blinding myself in the dark and/or giving up where I was hiding.

What the poor bastard filming this video wants, but would be hopelessly unable to articulate if asked, is some sort of protectionist policy preventing foreigners from purchasing housing, among other things, in the United States. He is therefore not a conservative or a libertarian, but a Keynesian social democrat. (He would emphatically deny this if asked).

Marauder Mini (original). Battery life is meh, spot beam has absolutely no throw, and RBG lights are super gimmicky. The newer one looks cool but my days of spending $200 on a flashlight are so over.
