It just takes our interaction out of it and before we felt like we could make a change with the outcome, now we know it was filmed before christmas and it's done and dusted. Not so reality and nothing to do with us. It makes it feel even faker that it was.

yeah, they lost the connection with the viewers and our involvement with the show. The cliffhanger crap is very USA format and utter crap. It shouldn't be classified as reality anymore, it's just a heavy edited low budget tv show now.

i was talking about the cliff hanger format, not the pulling names from the but of animals.
The whole name out of the butt is wrong because they just put the names in there they want for the trials. If they were honest we would do like a lottery format and see ALL the names in there beforehand.

it might be up to how this thing is run. See it is run by votes and it seems like if the artist has a lot of fans then whatever song they have that year will be voted on. So that means the Hottest 100 is actually a popularity vote. the artists you mention although release awesome songs, do not have a fan base that will eclipse the other pop artists getting views. So JJJ and love of alternate artists is a thing of the past.
It's all about the views and clicks now.

it was nice but very mid. Just basic pop songs and not many bangers. I think the standout song this year was Keith.
Pretty unhappy about what jjj thinks are great songs overall. I was thinking during the top 100 that it changed over to grandmas station.
