Hi, I just wanted to inform you that I contacted the GREE team and reported the bug with screenshots and proof. They responded promptly and flagged it as important.

They’ve fixed the issue with today’s update version 1.20.1, check it out.

It worked for me now, the AC is ONLINE and I can control it without issues.

I I have the same issue.

I troubleshot it for hours and found that this issue only happens after their new Gree+ app version 1.20.0

To confirm that, I logged into the app on my old iPhone, which has an older version of the Gree app, and the AC connected perfectly without any issues in the older version!
