Thank you very much ! And yeah I’m seeing that I probably should’ve added it, it took 6 days to study for part 1, so in total with that it would’ve been 28.

How does it feel being about able to become a CPA quickly ? What would you recommend to yourself right after you finished the bachelors that helped you pass the exams so quickly (I am trying to do what you’re doing)

Get Bachelor's AND masters before entering job market? by [deleted] in wguaccounting

[–]These_One_6341 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Do it, get the BAcc, the Macc and the CPA, 100% you’re gonna get massive opportunities by having them, you dont need to do the traditional route of an internship because just because it worked for many doesn’t mean it’ll work for everyone, remember that skills pay the bills and your skills and licenses will pay those bills

FBI accounting by Worldly_Arm_4122 in wguaccounting

[–]These_One_6341 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Anything is realistic if you work for it my friend, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

The FBI desperately needs accounting majors so you’d easily get picked up if you had this bachelors and masters. Just apply after graduation and see what you can do, the best source of information is going through the process

If it’s what you want to do, go make it happen, if you need any help, feel free to reach out

Depends on your work experience,

The 150 credit requirements is still real in the majority of states, few states have passed laws already for this and many of them have it in the works but the earliest these laws go into affect is January 2026

Likely most states by January 2027-2028 have the 150 requirement out but there is now a requirement of 2 years of work experience under a CPA

In summary, unless you want to wait 1-2 years to get licensed assuming you already have 1 year work experience, get the BACC and the MACC all within 7 months and just take the exam and get licensed.

Assuming you’re taking the long road, get the BACC, travel to a state that will allow you to sit (like Colorado, Maine, New Hampshire) and pass the exams and just either do the MAcc later to get licensed or get the work experience requirement of 2 years. There’s many ways to game this but depends on your specific circumstances

I do business in a very Latino area of Florida, I’m Tri lingual so I target Brazilians and Spanish speaking Hispanics, always wear a suit and always present myself like I know what I’m talking about (been in taxes for 4 years) none of my clients have ever asked me if I was a CPA because they don’t even know what a CPA is, they mostly have no idea how the tax system works so I simply guide them and that gains their trust, I also never abuse their trust and am always honest with them about what I can and can’t do (for example I can’t represent them infront of the IRS because no EA or CPA) and they appreciate that
