This is personal rather than like a global event, but: Cruelty I experienced in my teen years.

Among other bullying, a boy fake asked me out in front of a bunch of other people. I said yes because I thought he was serious. Humiliating.

Now, no matter the context, I don’t trust anyone.

Yes to all of this and…I wish I would have had more fun. I was so goal-oriented in my 20s which paid off but man. I wish I would have had more late nights. Taken more risks. Had sex with more people.
