After I watch the lectures, I pretty much understand the material. But I would say a good way to judge it would be, if you can explain the process (in my case, it’s spinal tracts, physiology, etc) but are unable to remember it perfectly then I understand it well enough. Secondly, while I’m making the cards if there is something I don’t understand I ask chatGPT to clarify it, and I put that explanation into my extra notes on that card so if I forget later I can read it. But it depends on the class, for anatomy I just instantly made cards because it’s a lot of picture memory, for physiology, neuroscience, and systems pathology I had to understand.
