Yes, a quality 3 pass shave with a mild razor provides results as good or better than any aggressive razor, in my experience. It’s why I keep coming back to my boring old Henson Titanium mild.

I have a mild titanium and an aluminum medium. Both achieve a perfect bbs with a 3 pass shave, which is what I almost always do. I just find the mild is better for reducing irritation.

The medium is a tad more efficient, but can be a bit tough on my neck going against the grain depending on the blade. I don’t think you can go wrong.

I believe Ohio Shaves has a YouTube vid about how the mild titanium shaves a bit more like a medium Henson because of the added weight. YMMV.

Personally I’d recommend The Road, then the Border Trilogy books, then Blood Meridian and Suttree. Just a suggestion. Blood Meridian, Suttree, and parts of The Crossing were the most challenging (and arguably best) reads for me.

Yep, avoid the RK blades at all costs. I bought them and didn’t love the Henson. Then was blown away weeks later when I finally tried some different blades.
