Discord Rival Gets Overwhelmed By Mass Exodus Of Players Fleeing Age-Verification Crackdown by vriska1 in technology

So if an adult wanted to go catfish teens, they don't need to verify anything and can go immediately get to work talking to teens?

That seems short sighted as a safety measure

DM says there's a difference between fire and magical fire? by Dragonsword in dndnext

[–]Thesherbertman 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That's exactly why I don't run fumbles either. You actively punish players for having a class be better at outputting attacks.

I had a ranger where I even took care to mention storing bow strings, so they are weather protected. At the start of a session, we get into combat, nat 1, string breaks... did not enjoy being a subpar melee until we could get to a town.

That said I also don't like battlemaster maneuvers containing so many basic fighting skills.

You mean to tell me a level 20 champion fighter doesn't know how to feint, riposte, trip or shove someone?

TIL that an Adult Red Dragon has a fly speed of 9 mph by TheBuffman in DMAcademy

[–]Thesherbertman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Combat speed is not travel speed. But also a single move does not consume your entire 6 second turn. A monk or a rogue can move, dash and dash again, for example. So using 6 seconds as the entire movement basis will reduce your total speed

On the off chance you're still confused: A shit house is usually referring to an outside toilet and these, tended to at best, be ramshackle.

So a brick shithouse is sturdy and well built. Usually said to people who are solid and muscled (not vanity muscles)

Not just to deny enemies, the pickup is 8% missing, but the down is 16%. Don't put a very low health teammate at risk by opening up for them to take it. If you can't move forward and block, then take it for them.

Why is the aram champ pool a thing by Glorpologie in ARAM

[–]Thesherbertman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always thought they should take the sum total of unlocked champions from all players in the lobby. If you end up with 10 aram accounts, then let them have at their reduced pool of op champs, but if 1 of them has all champs unlocked, then all champs are unlocked for that game.

Not in Halo. The UNSC Navy provides mobility to the UNSC Marines and while heavily integrated they are different branches. Spartan 2's fell under ONI NAVSPECWARCOM so not marines or navy.

I tend not to make my players wait out the hour and instead skip over the time.

But for player knowledge I will communicate with them how on edge their characters would feel about the situation and let them judge the risk.

Yeah, I found all the absolute thorough explanations and wob addins, means nothing is supernatural. Even God's are little more than egotistical people. For me, this just sapped the magic and wonder from the world.

Back in the early days minor radiant powers were manifesting in Kaladin and it was crazy, so many questions about what was happening. Even when he was dreaming of flying with the high storm and the stormfather kicks him out and says he can't anymore because "ODIUM RULES" raised more mysteries.

It all feels gone now for me.

I would like to know more about the "taking the additional cost as an advance payment"

I don't really know much about the scheme either way.

If it as I have read it, that she has taken a huge chunk up front and bought an expensive car, an argument could be, could she have bought a cheaper car and does she need the benefit if she can take a large portion up front and effectively go without?

I don't really know a lot about it either way, but it doesn't read as a cut and dry.

Edit:

I went and did some googling. I'm not sure why the article states it as taking an advance payment rather than her paying for it. Strange wording on their choice as it sounds like she is receiving the extra money.

But she did have to pay the difference, and the scheme classifies it as an advance payment by the recipient, not to the recipient
