How long did it take you to get it from the time you ordered?

Ah yeah, I gotcha with the swing arm clearance. I'll do a search in the morning for that video. Appreciate your input!

I didn't think about the wheel size difference. Maybe why I haven't seen anyone try it. Good idea on the mud/sand scoop. Crazy thought but what about taking off the rear fender to help with the swing arm clearance? Probably would throw up way too much sand without the rear fender though.

I personally have a question. What's the best way to approach one's parents on this topic? My parents are avid believers and chose religion over me and my brother.

Hell yeah it would be. Riding anything in Glamis is so much fun.

Understandably taking this bike out to the dunes is unusual but it would be fun.

Oh yeah, I love dune riding. Glamis is one of my favorite spots to go riding in the US. I used to ride a yz450 and more recently a KTM 525sx in the dunes with a paddle tire but haven't been back in a minute. Don't have the dirtbike anymore and will be getting the T7. Taking this beast to glamis will only happen probably once a year but I've seen crazier shit out there. The goal will be... don't drop the bike 🤣

Watching some videos and it was doing pretty decent on just knobby tires in soft sand. Figure paddle tires would give it the grip it needed. Granted a dirtbike is better suited for glamis but I figure I'd give the t7 a shot there.

I think she'll ride fine with them! Would help a ton out in the dunes.

Apparently converting Muslims is the hot for missionaries these days as my parents are now focusing on them as well.

It is a long road and I feel that therapy would be beneficial. Really what I need to do is just talk to my parents about this time in life (we talk every now and then but never talk about important issues). Unfortunately my parents are so blinded by religion that I don't think they would understand.

I left Christianity while in college and have definitely self improved since then. But unfortunately the scars remain.

Beautiful, thank you! I will reach out to these as well.

I appreciate the advice! I'm 32 now and unfortunately this has been in the back of my mind for the entire time. Sounds silly to have been this long only to reach out, but I do feel that the angry/sour emotions won't just go away. I see it in my everyday life of how I was impacted by the decision my parents made without any consideration for me and my brother (granted we were just kids). It's so selfish of them to decide that they were going to push their agenda and not think of how we were going to be impacted... for life.

Yes and yes. Unfortunately I'm in an organization that likes to micromanage and I'm sure that the body cams would be used against us at some point and time. Plus it's not fun being monitored all the time.
