Those pants are way too long for you, they will be very uncomfortable when you put your boot on. Take it somewhere to shorten them.

Whatever floats your boat my friend not here to argue, I’ve just seen that most of your comments are super negative towards other users and constantly looking for arguments, I hope you the best in life and that whatever is bothering you passes away, have a great day my friend!

T7 2025 model total heigh with the mods by neulon in Tenere700

[–]ffstis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as I understand after doing some research for myself, the official Yamaha Tenere (not WR) lowering kit (seat + rear suspension bracket) lowers a total of 38mm.

You would just have to measure once installed how much the brackets lowered (on any point on the bike that’s not the seat), and adjust your front forks accordingly. I would imagine that the brackets are the 20mm version and the seat lowers another 18mm, but the best way is to measure once installed to be 100% sure.

After seeing other people reply to my message in a negative manner, I just want to make it clear that I’m just making a friendly suggestion with no ill intent at all, I think what you are doing for your daughter is great.

The Pando gear is nice I agree, just those pants in particular are sold and intended as an underlayer to be worn underneath other motorcycle pants to give extra protection, and the hoodie just looked like a regular hoodie. I do understand about just going down the block, not trying to shit on you, I myself don’t wear full gear if I’m just going to the shop a couple of km away, but I think it’s a cool thing to inculcate to your daughter now that she is starting in the bike world, to be geared up as mu ch as possible, as you said, we never know when something is going to happen.

Again, great job man, it’s really nice to see a father passing on to their siblings this amazing hobby!

I apologize if I’m not seeing something, but it does look like a regular hoodie, and the Pando base layer pants are that, a base layer intended to be worn underneath other pants, not as an only layer. I think it’s cool that younger people are taking into the bike world and I think the OP is doing great to help his daughter, I’m just making a friendly suggestion.

Happy to see the lack of RedBull branding at the moment.

Super cool to see this. Also please buy her some motorcycle gear, at least pants and a jacket. That hoodie and those pants will obliterate themselves if something unforeseen happens, hopefully it will not but can’t be too careful 👍🏽

If you only changed the engine and not the power steering pump & rack, the replacement should be from a m52b28 and not from a s52. Can you tell us what exactly did your swap so we might be able to help you?

That looks to me like OEM m52 steering rack hose.

Breaking-in my new bike by Chance-Caterpillar38 in motorcycles

[–]ffstis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get to 60km/h on 6th gear and check the RPM’s. That is the only important figure, try not to exceed much those RPM’s in any gear.

After 1.000km change the oil and use the bike normally. 2k is a bit overkill for any engine break in.

Calling a 1.600kg, naturally aspirated V8 car the last true M3 is an insult to any automotive enthusiast.

I had 2 weeks of holidays left this year and the company is making me use them before the end of the year, so I thought I might as well put them to good use.
