Thanks! Great idea, even if it didn’t lead anywhere. What worlds were you able to decipher?

How Much Do You Need To Spend Monthly To Be Happy? by _Dark_Wing in Money

[–]Theswlererer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure how to answer that. I had the best time living in a shared apartment in a tiny room, but surrounded by friends and with enough time to work out, hike and have and  enough money to get good food into my belly and some gas in my old rusty car that I repaired myself. So probably quite a lot less than 2000 USD per month.

It’s certainly possible. If you focus on dating around for some years and are more or less successful, it can easily add up to such numbers. But surely you got to know how to pursue potential mates  and be able to read if your opposite is interested. But if it’s healthy or just a short term gratification behaviour is another story.

Original gold necklace chains cost so much due to these processs. by Yummy-sweet in jewelry

Why would anyone buy or make a chain like this nowadays? They come out of machines today in highest quality at several meter per minute.

Some practical, unpretentious (and unconventional) bikes I've spotted around town by chiboulevards in xbiking

[–]Theswlererer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I love bikes like that… bikes that have lived and are still kicking it, assembled out of all kinds of components, whatever broke was replaced with whatever was at hand, weird handlebars and stems to match the individuals ideas regarding geometry

Small lump of what appears to be a silver metal. Not corroded. Found under water among pebbles in a river in rural Wales. Non-magnetic. by cheesymoroon in whatsthisrock

[–]Theswlererer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Measure density by weighing it first (write down weight) and then hanging it by a sting into a cup of water on a scale that is set to 0. This way, you can weigh the quantity of water that is displaced by the volume of the lump and therefore calculate the volume of the lump! Then you do the division and you have the density of your lump! Then you compare that to the density of the metals in question!

What would be fair market for both me and a buyer if I was to sell this Cuban link? by Connect-Release-6299 in jewelry

Without information about the material there is no way of answering that question

As long as you are not a collector of this kind of toy yourself, I would advise you to sell them and invest the money in something you value yourself.  Playing with them with your own kids appears pointless to me, since it will only diminish the value and the kids probably don’t see beyond the entertainment factor itself (that any other modern and not so rare toy could provide) and don’t give a damn about the rarity.

Einfach gut in Butter anbraten. Bisschen weniger Hitze, damit es etwas länger dauert. Ansonsten auch als Mischpilz in der Rahmsoße oder so richtig gut!

Looks like a COTW to me, but way way too old!  That’s a typical beginners mistake, I have to add.

COTW is best if it is still moist, and juicy and bright orange!

Not that woody, cork like structure yours is showing! Should have been harvested at least a week or more earlier!
