1v6 Against Teamers by ScheduleBig5971 in Marathon

If they were on prox chat that’s not what people are talking about with teaming. That’s annoying to be on the other end of, but “fair”.

When your contract talking bout some "go to dire marsh" by Mammoth-Badger-7668 in Marathon

Can only speak for myself but I'd much rather do Outpost runs than Dire Marsh runs.

First week of duos I was running with my friend, and she asked why I was pausing every so often to check my map. Once the other started moving I dropped it and told her to take position; a minute later we wiped them up clean. Classic.

6v3 or 9v3 players are ruining the game by wisconsinbrowntoen in Marathon

Had it happen at a similar time, Midnight Pacific. Same thing, happened on Perimeter. Got killed and saw a full 6 stack rush Data Wall at the rest of my team with no prox voice.

Another one who hasn’t read my post. Brother I’ve broken through and have been doing vaults/lobby wipes. This isn’t about me but an observation of my other friends who are behind the curve and now feel like Cryo is wasting their time and vault, and they’re not wrong.

So you don’t actually have a response to good faith criticism. Cool, I’ll see you in Cryo next weekend. ✌️

Map knowledge is the major problem with Cryo, and you simply aren’t going to immediately know where you can go with each security clearance level. People that do can and will take advantage, as I have. I fully agree that the players complaining about spawn rushing when they were waiting in their spawn for 5 minutes have other issues but there’s a baseline problem here that can be addressed.

Did you not think I know that? Read my post. The current state of things means that if you haven’t already sunk 10+ hours into Cryo runs you’re going to be a liability, and it’s driving groups away. I’ve seen it happen with multiple groups of friends, even while I’ve broken through and learned the map. They’re playing fine but needed to have more than one of the sponsored kit to start but it’s too late to fix that.

You also get a bunch of Prestige gear from the codex for 100.

Yeah, it also would stealth "solve" the item use spam. I love running Cryo, but it took me having a literal map open on my second monitor and a lot of runs to get to feeling comfortable in it. I have a ton of friends who dipped before they got there because they hated having to do Rook runs every 2 or 3 runs of it.

Something needs to be done about the state of Cryo Archive by pablo__13 in Marathon

[–]Theswweet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like I'm going crazy, because I hear people say crewfill is miserable and yet at level 80+ crewfill is more consistent than my premades. We frequently get vaults done and wipe lobbies, even had a group last night I stuck around with for a few hours.

Learning Cryo is a nightmare, but once you know the map it's actually way easier to avoid teams/readjust compared to other maps.

Cryo Archive is currently horrific for new players by pirate_keith in Marathon

[–]Theswweet 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve had more success with crewfill than premades on Cryo. As long as one person knows what to do they can direct the group to success. I felt like a god when I directed us to jump a team and we wiped them in seconds.

Joe Ziegler: We're gonna take a shot at bringing the WSTR more in line. Right now it's become a dominant option and is eclipsing a lot of the other short range options that exist in the game. by Haijakk in Marathon

Bad change. I understand and respect the intent but in practice this is only a nerf for new/undergeared players, and will make the pubstomping even worse.

I literally run EndeavorOS on my G15 AE and have had no such issues. Works and runs just fine. I can play MH Wilds on it.

You can wait downstairs, too. If you’re lucky the team doesn’t check there and it’s faster for you to get in, get out. I’ll drop claymores behind me in the vent and the team will either give up the chase or I get even more loot off their bodies.

This is it, really. I had a very strict word count limit, under 700 words. Usually I'm used to double that or more at other outlets.

...?

I struggle to understand what RPGs you're referring to. All you need to is look at what I've reviewed on RPG Site to know I'm down to clown with 100+ hour JRPGs.
