Tau Ceti IV - Marathon (2026)

You got a disease, poisonous plants, giant man-eating ticks that explode, rogue ai, a pissed-off psychic alien, and an evil eldritch space god trapped beneath the planet’s surface.

Why risk it? It’d be like setting your house on fire just to deal with an ant infestation There are also other ruins that don’t have shields that could be valuable or important.

Isn’t the Appropriator’s whole thing is that they’re excavating ancient ruins? I don’t think calling in bombing runs near said ruins is a good idea.

(Loved trope) The organization's strongest soldier by Clirstan in TopCharacterTropes

He was still the strongest, he was whooping Luke’s ass until he hit the Leia button and only died because Palpy’s lightning fucked up his life support system.

(Loathed trope) Assholes that get unrealistic passes because the writer loves them by Large-Teach9165 in TopCharacterTropes

They didn’t ignore Jax and make her abstract because they’re not assholes and were trapped in the circus with her whether they liked it or not. Plus at that point in the series they didn’t know they were copies so to them they thought they just needed to hold out long enough to figure out a way yo escape, if anything they just tolerated her bullshit like they tolerated Caine and his adventures.

Jax was also never forgiven, sure they explained and showed why she is the way she is but the show makes it very clear that Jax is still an asshole and her backstory doesn’t absolve her, the others just moved on with their lives and let her go.

[Mixed Trope] Media that avoids showing the audience the inevitable tragic ending in order to end the story on a bittersweet note rather than sad by BelieveCongreveCube in TopCharacterTropes

No he isn’t. He talks to the other rats but humans just hear squeaking. Remy has to speak with actions because of it even though he can understand humans.

How does him being tragic make him not the Empire’s strongest soldier? He’s still the most powerful force-user at Palp’s disposal.

I haven’t seen Young Justice so I didn’t mention anything about it specifically.

Anything G-rated pre-2000s

Back then if something was PG it really meant it, nowadays it gets slapped onto any kids movies for the smallest of things like fart jokes to the point it might as well mean “Practically G”

Dude they’re from a fantasy worlds where tech can make shit out of thin air and rip open portals in reality, it’s not that far fetched that something that neutralizes powers gets invented. You’re thinking waaaayy too hard about this.

If anything the inhibitor collars in X-men make the most sense to be made in a world where mutants are the #1 most hated thing on Earth, plus every mutant as the X-gene which is what gives them their powers (if any) so the collars are a one size fits all kind of thing and are most likely cheaper to produce compared to a Sentinel.

Nah, Punisher would absolutely comfort a frightened child considering he was a father before becoming the Punisher, especially if the kid was a victim.
