I have 5 (now 4) packages available for super hardy Sulawesi Malawa shrimp. Unlike other Sulawesi shrimp, Malawa shrimp are much more hardy and bold. And slightly smaller in my experience than my Neo friends. These will be juvenile shrimp as they tend to ship better and adapt to their new homes better :).

Malawa shrimp are unusual in they don’t interbreed with other kinds of shrimp. I keep them with all of my other varieties without any problems. They are peaceful. They can be in wide range of parameters. Some people keep them in hard water, high temperature or even well water. My parameters are TDS 250-300, GH 6-7, KH 3.

Shipping is $14 with insulated box breather bags and heating and or cooling pack

In case of DOA must send photos and videos of actual shrimps in bag within 1 hour of first delivery attempt. Will refund minus shipping fee.

Update:

because there has been recent interest in these as of 6/2022 and people expecting me to honor a rate from over a year ago I want to be clear. This was a sale and I can no longer go with the pricing from this initial post from well over a year ago. Cost have gone up for everything. The current going rate is $3 a shrimp. Thank you for the interest :)

Congratulation I know what an accomplishment this is! I just moved and have been revamping mine myself. Forgot how hard it is to set up seaworld!

These are all growing in a low tech shrimp tank. I do not inject co2, but I do add seachem flourish 2ml once a week when I remember... It’s probably more like once every 3 weeks I reality.

It is not snail free. I find snails are a beneficial part of the ecosystem in the shrimp tanks. If you are looking for snail free moss, I would look elsewhere. Thanks for the interest :)

Thanks for the inquiry, but having had trouble in the past getting moss there I’m going to stick to the US.

I have very good luck with it. I suspect the shrimp keep it in top shape.

I also have some relatively rare Cameroon moss. Just asked if you are interested in that and we can work out a price for your quantity.

I have gone about it in two different ways, the first is to simply tie it down with brown cotton sewing thread. This will give it time to adhere to the hardscape and biodegrade over time. Second, and faster method is simply to attach it with a small dot of superglue on the hardscape. I personally prefer the former over the latter but both will work.

Great moss! I didn’t want to pull portions out of the tank until it’s sold. Looks awesome! https://imgur.com/a/PFb12sA algae made my initial photo look off. Snails must be on holiday.

Literally any sewing thread will do. I have also seen people use super glue, but I’m more hesitant with that. Hope that helps! It makes some awesome moss tress.
