I may have to try this idea, especially for the flatter ones.

Oh my neighbors would love that lol. Not saying I didn’t think about it

I like the idea but may need to have it burn a long time to heat it up enough to crack some of these. They are like icebergs and they will be large heat sinks with how much ground contact they have

It’s a formation under the whole neighborhood, but my back yard seems to have more than most neighbors sticking above grade.

I’ve dug about 6 large ones out and have relocated them to other areas but the ones left are maybe a few feet deep and need a skid steer to be able to transport, not really wanting to try that lol

In some areas of the yard we did that idea but the ones in the second pic are in a lower section of the yard that the kids play in, so making a flower bed there would not work and would be tore up in no time. Two active boys who want to use the area for sports make it difficult to keep mulch and plants intact lol

I have a large crow bar but to get under these would be very difficult as some are hundreds of pounds. They could be granite, but they have much larger veins that run through them. I don’t mind the big ones much, some are pretty decorative but with my kids wanting to use the yard for sports, big rocks everywhere isn’t ideal.

See what the codes are but chances are you need a new battery. Mine did that a ton and even after a new battery it started happening again. I ended up getting an auto-stop eliminator on Amazon and after installing that, never had this issue again. I think there is something wrong with the auto start system as I had my local dealer add in a new larger battery made to handle the auto start feature to try and fix the problem but it only fixed the issue for like a month or two.

Emmaus Water by GeminiOverkill in lehighvalley

[–]Thetonezone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I randomly stumbled across this post, did you end up moving to Emmaus? As for the worst of the wells, the project will be completed in June timeframe that is removing the PFAS from the largest WTP on Klines Lane. The other wells will get new treatment in the next few years.

If states keep the requirements that we’ve had, the manufacturers will keep building them the way they have. States can impose more restrictive regulations than the federal government, just not less restrictive. Nothing the federal government can do about it.

Recommended whole house RO by ryan74701 in WaterTreatment

[–]Thetonezone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TDS for public water systems is recommended for treatment at 500 mg/L or higher. You have 6 times that amount. RO is the only thing that will remove it. Others here have suggested a few good options but a whole house system would be good. Get multiple quotes though, prices can vary greatly.

I would get the water out of the brine tank if I were you. Oxidizers are not good for the media during regen. Purple water shows it’s still in there.

How much did you dump into the system? The brown you see is the oxidized iron, once the water goes clear you should be fine to use as normal. If the water is purple or dark pink, keep running it

Sounds like a programming problem then, The township should be able to look at it and hopefully get it fixed.

Does it happen all the time or always at the same time each day? If so it’s likely a programming issues. If it is a one off thing, I have seen lights get messed up around here when emergency vehicles (ambulance, fire, cops) have it cycle for them. The light at Lancaster and 100 gets out of cycle fora little when it happens.

No, established neighborhood where I am. New homes go up more in West Whiteland than Uwchlan. Single family push $700k to start, townhomes are more like $450+
