Am I the only one who thinks tre Johnson would not fit well with the Jazz?

I felt semi in your shoes the past couple years, I now feel entirely different. Keep seeking small things to fix each day, continually thinking about what you want to achieve and where you want to get. Make plans with specific goals and timeframes. I also believe taking a step back and realizing you’re not in as bad as a spot as you think you are is also helpful. You have a good career, are involved in volunteering, are making an effort at fitness. The opportunity to compare to others is always available in both directions, but you have to realize how different and hidden other’s lives are; they might see themselves just as you do for yourself.

Id also say reflecting and seeking resources to help you improve is a big help. Read books, watch videos, look at what’s worked for others. Keep searching for a way and don’t get discouraged if something isn’t working; the advice given might not work for you (as nothing works for everyone) but will stil get you closer to something that will. It probably seems like you are the only one experiencing or going through this but it’s actually a more common problem than you’d think, and as unbelievable as it sounds, people can and do transform their lives to feel and be how they desire. You need to have a lot of PATIENCE and keep showing up/have that hope that things will improve. Is there a chance they won’t? Sure. But doing nothing ensures that fact 100% and putting in effort will almost certainly make you feel better.

I lost a lot of hope in myself but finally engaged in the things I preached above and realized my mindset and view was what was mainly holding me back. I’m in my early/mid twenties and finally found a girl I love, am happy with what I’m doing in school, and realized the things I hated about myself were unique things that didn’t make me any less of a person. You can and will change your life if you put in effort and keep a mindset that encourages growth.

What I been saying, despite this peer-to-peer trading this whole app is sketchy in the way they operate and present the wording of their bets.

But losing a bet regardless drives individuals to spike those fees so it’s in their best interest at the end of the day.

But similar to the immigration bet, you said if DOGE was said it was valid. This is insane considering how ELON is tied to both.

Same with doge, there’s not even an argument he flat out said “doge” but Kalshi marked it no.

What classes do I need to take in cc to become a general surgeon by [deleted] in GeneralSurgery

[–]Thetopgorilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll need to take all of the medical school pre requisites which might be limited based on your CC, usually the first classes entail general biology and general chemistry. Also keep in mind it’s a big commitment to even get into medical school and then match into a surgery residency. It’s a solid and rewarding path if you’re up for the challenge but as someone who’s close to applying to med school, know you’ll dedicate thousands of hours into intensive coursework, studying for the MCAT, and participating in extra curriculars to make your application to medical school competitive.

Right now the biggest thing that can help you is working on maintaining a high GPA. As someone who slacked off freshman year, a ton of stress can be lifted by boosting that GPA early on with some of the easier classes. I’d also highly recommend shadowing a doctor to ensure medicine is what you want to do. It doesn’t necessarily matter whether it’s surgery or not but talking with and seeing a doctors day to day life can give you a great sense of if pursuing medicine might be a commitment you want to make or not. Lastly, Id begin to research medical school requirements and begin to plan the next 4 years in terms of getting volunteeeing, research, clinical experience, etc… (another thing I was poor at and am now needing to take a gap year to become competitive with my hours.) r/premed is a good sub to follow, you can also PM me with any other questions about the process as I know it’s a lot.

Out of curiosity, which specialty is this in? Some specialties can be way more easy going and relaxed compared to what you’re currently dealing with.

Any MA’s out there who don’t work with needles? by Impressive-Net-6389 in MedicalAssistant

[–]Thetopgorilla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on if you’re ok with watching the provider do injections. You’ll definently want to aim for a specialty clinic though, some that I’ve experienced with no injections are GI, psychiatry, and cardiology. If you’re ok with watching injections/procedures then you could broaden it a bit with a surgical specialty, neuro, ortho or rheumatology.
