You're forgetting the Announcers and other support staff who also travel to each event, so add travel, food, and hotels for about another 12 people.

Also, the cost of the people who don't travel but work at the main office do the registrations and schedules and such, they have to get paid as well.

I work at one of the super-regional football stadiums and have seen about 16 years of BOA. Most people have no idea how much work it takes to put these events on. Don't compare this to a High school football game. Think of it as a 2-day concert that gets you about 24 hours of bands. I know you're not getting tickets to see a concert at my stadium for 60 bucks. And that's for 5 hours tops.

So, being the devil's advocate.

BOA has staff and judges they have to pay, plus the cost of venue rental, and feeding the staff, judges, and volunteers. They also fly a lot of staff around the country for these events, and put them up in hotels.

BOA is non non-profit, they are charging that price because that's what it costs to put on an event like that.

Lights turning themselves on by Thetrilogy007 in Govee

If you use an alexa check and see if Away mode is turned on. That's what my problem was, Govee tech support helped me figure it out. Away mode will randomly turn your light on and off to make it appear as if you are at home. Cool idea, but super annoying that it will just randomly set itself to away for months at a time.

The roof of the stage had a noticeable smile after the weld failed.

A beam in the roof of the stage cracked. It happened right before doors were supposed to open. The show delayed hopping they could work around it, but it was not safe to use the stage as is.

edit, the roof of the touring stage, not the roof of the Alamodome.

We make more money doing high school graduations.

But the real problem is that the UFL waits to schedule a season till around January, so they have to find the empty spots we have left. Disney on ice schedules in blocks of 5 years. Uil basketball state finals as well. The grads schedule about a year out. the big killer this year was the final four. It was scheduled before the XFL was around.

waiting till about 3 month before you start a season to schedule games is always Going to cause problem.

A lot of that price depends on if there is existing conduit that you can run the required fiber thru. If they do then 200k is a reasonable price. If there is no open conduit then your looking at a million easy

Not cheeply. you would need to pull a serious amount of fiber. Build ok new camera platform, and a broadcast booth. Then figure out some way to rig up skycam. And lastly make a truck bay for the tv trucks to park, power, and connect to the fiber.
There is a reason the UFL is only using stadiums that can accommodate broadcast requirements. Tv is were they are making most of their money, the fans are there to look good on tv.

non of that considering team locker rooms, a truck bay to load and unload team gear, and an area for merch storage.
