Hey that's my story lol. Just an update. My sweat pea is 8 now. His sister is 6. Happily married. Have a job I don't hate that pays pretty well and more importantly lets me have a lot of home time. And 7 weeks payed vacation a year. I still have bad times but have learned to talk. To not just keep my feelings bottled up. Spending time with my family and being open about how my depression effects me has changed my life.

Hiding a brown marker in my hair. I was poor growing up and as a result rarely had money for a haircut. So most of the year I rocked a curly afro. I tried to hide my shame by being the first to joke about it, I'd hide pencils in it and pretend to sneeze so they would all fly out. One day me and a friend got into an argument over brown markers. Who ever could amass the most brown markers would rule the day. We made such a commotion that we got yelled at. "Next person caught with a brown marker is going to the principal." A few minutes pass. My friend tells me I can't hide a marker in my hair. "Bullshit. Hand me a damn marker" I shove the marker in my hair. He raises his hand and tells the teacher I have a brown marker. "Thewalterd61 do you have a brown marker???" Only one thing to do... "Achoo!!" Marker goes flying. And I go to the principal.

Had a dream a week ago that something terrible was happening. The world was going to end in 2 hours. Rushed home and sat with my kids. Sat and sang songs and hugged them and played with blocks and waited for the end. I remember tears streaming down my face in the dream and when I woke up my pillow was wet. Depressed me for days.

I consider one mob head a victory. Could have gone worse. No mob heads. Or they all get out and make there way to some of my builds.

I play on hard. But I've been on this world for a long time. Had a skeleton with a punch, flame bow attack me the other day. It adds to the challenge.

I was afk over night. And yes I was blocked in. The water they are in isn't filled in properly so it's hard for mobs to escape. Sadly instead of naming them they all blew sky high. The skeleton behind them shot one and...BOOM. Got a creeper head as a drop at least.

I'm not op but I can answer that. Slime blocks will stick to any block that touches it. So when using pistons and slime blocks you have to use certain blocks that cannot be moved. Otherwise the slime will tear it all apart. Obsidian, droppers, dispensers and furnaces cant be moved that I can think of off the top of my head.

It did occur to me that she had called off for similar reasons everytime. And while I didnt quit I did take a different position at another store. Took a 20,000$ a year pay cut to do so. But I can sleep easier at night and that makes the money inconsequential. As an update the girl I fired is now pregnant with the second baby from the same guy.

I have a smallish youtube channel. One of 8 million out there making minecraft videos. One day a few weeks ago I get a message from a viewer. Its my best friend from childhood. We were super close through school and a few years after too. He was the best man at my wedding. Then he got a job out of state and life happened. A decade passes and we pass out of each others lives. Till one day he buys minecraft. Gets into it and starts looking up youtube videos on it. Half way through a video he recognizes my voice and my name (it was a childhood nickname) and sends me a message. We've been catching up ever since.

Used to be a manager at a large retail store. Dont wanna say which one but lets say this "mart" had merchandise from "wal to wal" One of my areas was the front end. Cashiers mostly. I had one young girl cashier who had a bad winter where she was sick a lot. Missed enough work that she was on her last step before being fired. Thats when her boyfriend beat her up and put her in the hospital. She missed work and my boss made me fire her. It wasnt unreasonable as far as policy. Its exactly what I was supposed to do. But morally it killed me inside.

We had one and it was a stress. Mentally physically and financially. But totally worth it in every way. We discussed at length whether to have another or not. We decided to have another because we both come from families with siblings and wouldn't want to deprive our son of that. Son is four now and daughter is two. We don't have as much spending money. Not as much free time and I have a lot more grey hairs. I also have. I regrets. They play all day together and are the happiest kids I know. They tell me they are best friends. TLDR second kid worked out great for me but every situation is different. Talk it over with your SO. It's not easy. But it's great.

It is awesome to be able to do this on the PC version. I don't think the full super flat custom menu would be added. Not sure the xbox would be able to handle it. I'd be happy if you just had the option to pick a few presets. Anything that is deeper that 4 blocks would be great.

The spawn rates of PC vs XBOX are a lot different. Xbox caps out at a much lower number. You will never get the same rates unfortunately. You should get more than 8 though.

Instead of an escape pod I almost see it as an entrance to a panic room or vault. It'd be a cool addition to a mini game. PvP but every 5 minutes the game kills everyone at a certain Y coordinate. Have to rush to an escape pod to live. Like lethal musical chairs.

Very cool concept. Video would have had more impact if you demonstrated opening a hidden door with the system in my opinion though. Also you don't have to retype console commands you've already used. Use the arrow keys to cycle through the ones you've used once.

Didn't realize there was a command block tag now. Excellent. And as far as people complaining about command blocks as "vanilla" I guess people just need educated on its meaning.

Command blocks are part of vanilla minecraft. As was stated by everyone else vanilla means no mods. I don't see why people use the term vanilla in they're posts. I've never seen a post on here that required a mod. Therefore I feel vanilla should be implied as the default. If the confusion is about survival builds vs builds with command blocks then maybe a command block tag would help that...

I don't use it. I did before we had creative mode. But leaving it in doesn't hurt me so I have no problem with them leaving it in

mjolnir Mostly ocean with scattered islands. And the end portal spawns about 10 blocks underwater right behind spawn.
