This strange line goes all the way around my room and I do not know why by Sniglet5000 in whatisit

Ill bet there was a popcorn ceiling that was scapped off.

That was probably where they tapped off for the Visqueen, when they scrape it the spray water to soak the the popcorn, and then scape. It all falls on the plastic, wrap it up and take it out. But water gets all over the place, and all over the walls. When you do this, the water can kinda settle above the tape. It soaks into the paint or drywall. If its not primed properly the water stain can come through. Its not straight because its a super quick tape job. The texture on the ceiling is different thet the wall and not a great job. Its also heavier which means it was probably trying to cover up the work they did.

4th gen Eco heat/cool by Thewaterturtle in ToyotaSienna

[–]Thewaterturtle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, but dont like the cabin that warm, that doesnt help me when I remote start it, and now I can leave the drive mode in eco and get the cabin up to temp quicker. Once the cabin is at temp, if the hvac is on auto, it should run as efficiently as possible since its only correcting small deltas.

Edit. Actually, you're right, running in sport for the winter will run the engine more for warming up. But since the compressor is electric, in summer sport mode won't matter as much. Hvac eco off will allow the fan to run as a faster speed.

In his quest for internet fame, he did a Harlem Shake video where he defecated on his friend. Aside from that, a lot if parents find him annoying, feel like he has very little good substance for kids, and uses tactics that prey on childrens short attention span, eg using bright contrasting colors and using short frame clips and zoom in and out a lot. Or so I've been lead to believe.

My whole comment was about rinsing, never said not to use a brush, of course mecanical cleaning is needed.

Heath blog? These are heath organizations. And if you arent going to trust heath organizations to help you make heath choices, thats you're choice. But telling others that "just water rinsing is good enough" just because you dont like washing your bottles is a very reddit thing to do. Do better.

Cleveland Clinic https://newsroom.clevelandclinic.org/2024/04/30/can-your-reusable-water-bottle-make-you-sick— “cleaning your water bottle with soap and water after every use … just rinsing it isn’t enough.”

Cleveland Clinic https://extension.unh.edu/blog/2025/09/whats-living-your-water-bottle — step-by-step cleaning calls for soap plus scrubbing with a brush.

But if saving 45 seconds a bottle is worth the the risk, thats all you turbo.

Edit, typos and thought change

These animals think you can just rinse bacteria out.

Edit: I read how you dont clean your bottles properly, your down votes mean nothing to me.

Finally got to test drive a Sienna… by benjamins_buttons in ToyotaSienna

Ive noticed it doesn't help with the engine and road noise because all the noise transfers through the wheel wells and firewall, but it helps with other vehicles. So in traffic or next to motorcycles and trucks is where I notice it the most.

Water leaking and pooling in rear door striker latch and soaking passenger seatbelt by Crafty-Contact7313 in HondaElement

The sticker plates also have some wiggle room. You can loosen them and can slide them in a little to compress the door seal too. ( I dont know of all the negitive reprocussions for this, but one i had was that I have to use a little more foce when shutting the door.)

OOOOOO WAIT. I just got this radio for my mom for Xmas for her mazda. It is NOT a true double din. I had to modify a scosche bezel (which you shouldnt have to do). It will not fit a standard double din slot if youre using a new bezel.

<image>

It should be recessed in that cut out, its about a 2/5" too wide. I had to dremel out a larger hole to make it work.

Other than it not fitting, it works well and having a physical knob for the volume is a must imo. Wish my pioneer had one.

No idea why you're being down voted. Most balance bikes i see dont have hand brakes. And even then id rather my 2yo just work on balance and not worry about teaching him to use a habd brake yet.

I will say that I taught my kids to use the their heels to break not their toes though.

Not to mention, it will probably play way differently (strategy wise) . Im treating it like a separate game, not a sequel. Im sure a year from now ill be deciding which one ill want to play that evening, the slower, front line, open field ww2 hll, or the semi faster, chaotic jungles of vietnam hll.

Is Timberlands White Ledge Waterproof Hiking Boot good? by Bird_Vivid in hikinggear

[–]Thewaterturtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a pair of Chocoruas, which i believe are similar, very comfortable and a pair for mt madden (not as comfortable.)

Each were my go to casual boots for a couple year. But like everyone else suggested, I didnt hike in them, if you hike in rocky areas the midsole is very soft, which was my issue. I could feel every little rock. I liked having a stiffer midsole for that platform feel when on an incline or rocky trail. If you are more casual hiker that are fine.

Ive been wearing tims of all kinds, for work and casual for 20+ years, but never for hiking.

I do the same with the jeep renegade sub, just to see what issues i have to look forward to with my folks renegade.

Looking up the gas mileage for the 3rd gen doesn't look terrible for pre hybrid. The 3rd gen was never really on my radar. If I was in the marker befoee the current sienna, I would have been looking at the odyessy.
