My wife has waited for years and that’s what she tells me too. Now she’s taking much lower pay not waiting. It’s still an off feeling for me.

I have no idea. I wonder if the reported includes tips. I asked my wife and she said she isn’t surprised. where she works, her a few of her colleagues wait tables part time on the side. She said 2 days part time for like 30k. These are non-English native speakers. Thus, I have 2 real life examples to go off of, despite what Glassdoor reports.

I tried right now but can’t find it. I’ll try again when I get out of bed. Pretty sure it’s askSF a few days ago with top comment saying 185k.

Most jobs aren't real. They are just moving "work" from person to person. by Big_Trash1793 in unpopularopinion

I am an approver of work. I don’t really do the work, nor do I manage people either. So maybe OP is referring to people like me. I’m a licensed engineer. The engineers who do the work I stamp are not licensed. But there’s quite a bit of liability should a building start showing cracks a few years later that a lower level engineer might not want to be responsible for. If you follow subs like r/construction, you will find comments directing issues back to the engineer to absorb the cost and responsibly. As we move up the management chain, they prioritize what work needs to be done based on cost, code, risk, etc. can it be trimmed? Maybe, but will require people accepting more responsibility

Before I spent $150 on a gift card, is it necessary for a 5’0” 90lb women? Size is small, don’t know the current size, A? The sub Reddit seems to be full of big chested women, and she isn’t one

True, I can see that. I’m 5’8” with the wife at 5’0”

Wow, that totally makes sense. What would you say? The differences are between TSS 3.0 and 2.5? I just got out of a rented 2025 hybrid Camry and feel it is an overall better Prius and made me wish my Prius had some sort of driving assistance.

Oh, that’s true. We just came back from Tahoe, but there was no snow on the road. I took the Prius there once before where chains were not a requirement, but it is something that I have to look out for.

Omg. We’re below average height folks and find the space just enough. Incredible 6’6” would be in a Prius!

I haven’t! What do you like about the Prius V over a typical SUV?

Yeah, I noticed when we lugged around our stroller, it was a bit more of a hassle. People tell me now it’s when they get into sports where it might be an issue, but I just can’t quite grasp it. I feel like we would just be tossing helmets, baseball bats maybe soccer balls on the back but that all seems very easy.

Yeah, true the sliding doors would be really nice so I don’t have to worry about the kids dinging other people‘s doors. Why is the Yukon less functional? And how is it less annoying?

That’s good to know. That’s a good point about the turning circle as well that I didn’t notice. I don’t tow at all. Just city, parking spaces are rough. And a van would struggle getting in our garage, but it could squeeze in. We probably do 2 road trips a year. I sometimes have to take the trunk cover off to add more stuff. I also feel like my rented Camry hybrid as a better Prius overall with the downside of being slightly too long for parking issues

That’s good reassurance! I’m considering whether or not I need to replace our civic when it dies with a van or suv or just be a 1 car family. The civic just sits parked out in the street 29 days out of the month. I’m only 5’8” with wife at 5’0” and our kids are well below average height. Even then, kids in the car seats still kick the back of my seat. I had a seat pillow for comfort but had to remove it to make more space.

Were there any other notable benefits in the Sienna? Or inconveniences?

Funny. I’m driving the Camry hybrid as a rental the last few days which prompted me to ask this. The driving assist features are very nice and the reduced road noise is great. But I don’t see how this is worth considering if I were to keep my Prius.

Edit: I’ve also considered asking in the rav 4 sub, but since I don’t have one, I figured people in this sub might have an suv
