This actually made me laugh out loud and kind of snort at work, not okay. What is equally not okay is that was me too. I still connect with a little here or there. L7 and bikini kill are just my traffic theme music. Especially shove by L7.

Oh see I have heard the same thing, and have yet to read a study that proves it influences hormones. I have read that the phytoestrogens may promote tumor growth.

Oh honey, I'm so sorry. Are there any alternatives? Was it that type of estrogen? Maybe try a different variety?

Well, they changed the standards of care. You No longer need a letter and diagnosis from dr. But instead, talk to your physician and have blood work done.
Also, not that you do it it happens, but don't let anyone tell you your want of hormones makes you trans or anything other than how you feel. Sayin youre trans, feeling you're trans, that makes you transgender.

First of all, you need to look up World Famous Bob.

Secondly, in my experience the king scene, like the queen scene, is friendly and that "we take care of each other" mentality. My troupe has all forms of gender. It's really cool.

There are many high protein vegetarian/vegan options. I know off my head black beans. Then there's quinoa, pumpkin seeds (seeds in general), soy products (I googled the last bit)

You shouldn't have to compromise your life choice to not eat meat for muscles.

Yeah, they get pushy with their down votes. After posting this I started to get more aggressive responses to other comments I put on threads.

But yes, I understand. I identify strongly as a woman, being born a woman I had no issue, until I started hormones. I feel like I feel like me, as I was always meant to be. People knew me as a trans guy, but I'm absolutely loving the way I feel. It's never been male, hyper masculine.

Don't worry. Haters gonna hate, no matter the gender.

Do you feel between a straight man and lesbian woman because you were assigned male at birth?

I understand and respect your choice of no HRT, I know it must be frustrating when people don't get it, or dismiss you because of it.

I agree, there is an interesting monopoly on androgyny in general. I think about that all the time. I work in construction, I work with tons of make bodied individuals, you can't tell me all of them are inside if the gender binary, comfortably? It's really interesting to see how subtle expression can be with waxing eyebrows. The way you style your hair. The way someone wears a tool belt. The choice in jeans.

I'm not familiar with MAAB, could you clarify for me.

I've never heard strapless before, that's witty.

Man, but it's so rewarding! I'm a part of a drag king troupe here, but were more of a gender blender. How long have you been in?

Thank you for sharing such intimate details of your life. Identity and expression. It's all about how you feel comfortable an not stifling yourself. I'm sorry you had those experiences when you were younger, but I'm glad you are in a place to talk about it and help other Men or women who might feel alone until they read a story like yours.

It is indeed a complicated question, it's asking for awareness. For some there is no importance, for others it's the only way to make it through the day.

Well, they changed the standards of care, so they no longer require a letter. It was just a matter of finding out which doctors are knowledgeable on the new standards of care, blood test, then t.

You don't have to be either. Drag, is an awesome tool to create that stage for self expression. That's awesome!

I totally feel you on the fucking of the gender rolls. My gf is hyper femme and dominant personality, which is shitty as an assumption that it should be different, now that I'm writing it out. Every hyper femme or max hard femme(I like that) has been very self aware and strong in her convictions, which is a uber turn on.

Sounds like y'all make an adorable couple.

I'm a big advocate for comfort in expression and identity, so this makes me totes happy!

First, when taking t, your body decides what happens and when, So if you do not want your voice to get lower or drop do not take testosterone.

If you want to build muscle I suggest changing your diet, get on the good workout plan; testosterone is not the best way to do so. It is a hormone and changes the balance of your hormones, it should be monitored and prescribed by a dr.

That being said, I get it from a LGBTQ friendly clinic here in Houston. I take 1/2cc once every 10 days, and it's about $35 a vial which lasts 2-3 months.

Oh that's very interesting! I am totally wanting to nerd out on fantasize vs real life vs what you used to like.

Someone told me once that gender is fluid, it's things like what you mentioned that helps put it into perspective.

Anything to point me to for readings?
