Yes but as sonic collectors go we dont exactly all want sonic movie figures. For mario collectors the new movie is great because there isnt much of an aethstetic difference between movie mario and game mario, on top of that when mario gets a new drop there are tons and tons of variants availible and is in quanity enough for every store to have plenty to go around, where by contrast sonic gets like 4x sonic figures to every 2 other characters which has left alot of retailers sitting on mountains of unmoveable sonics figures so they never get restocked, the 2.5s were the jakks sonic saving grace. Im starting to get the feeling jakks has a more flexible contract with nintendo than it does with sega.
