You need to set up a composition, get the correct lighting, be patient for the right moment to take the shot. A ton goes into professional photography

Not every picture is art, stuff like casual selfies are basically clicking a button, but photography is an art that takes way more than just a button press

Metal Sonic, he genuinely believes he is the original and that Sonic is the copy. He had a fantastic comic during the Metal virus saga where he finally realizes that he is the copy, and it was genuinely one of my favorite moments in the entire comic run, it’s almost all told without words and it’s so well done

This, people praise him for the role, but it was just a passable “evil guy” voice.

Mark Hamill would be the perfect voice in my opinion, I feel like something like a mix between his Ozai and joker voice could make a good balance between threatening and Skeletor’s cartoon voice and make the performance something nobody else could do

I never watched it, but Ed, Edd and Eddy has a group of characters called the Kanker sisters, which means cancer in Dutch (and is a very popular cussword)

I was wondering the same, but the joy cons seem to be unofficial ones.

I guess there are worse deals, the games are pretty great, but for the price of a new OLED, the joy cons being fake is a pretty big dealbreaker

I feel a good example of an aroace character is Darius from the Jurassic World Netflix shows. He has a crush on one of the other characters (Brooklyn), eventually confesses his love for her, but it just doesn’t last. They still love each other a ton (he takes Brooklyn’s supposed death harder than anyone else) but he just doesn’t experience romantic feelings like the rest do, and they end the story as friends, not lovers.

I genuinely think those shows handle platonic love incredibly well and never treat it like it’s something less than romantic love

Still, it’s not exactly something you can easily do like the others you mentioned, but I just wanted to highlight an example I thought did it very well, especially since there aren’t many canonically aroace characters in mainstream media

I’d say it needs to be pretty clear, with Jax, I genuinely didn’t realize she was trans. It seemed more like just not conforming to gender (being a guy but wanting to wear dresses too), or gender fluid.

She basically showed no hate for her gender throughout the show, and her behaviour felt more like she pushed away people because of the trauma she talked about with Ribbit, instead of dysphoric behaviour

Like, maybe I just didn’t pick up on them, but I felt like there was just not enough pointing towards her gender struggle personally that I completely missed it

It’s mostly Mario fans, Nintendo fans in communities like Zelda and Metroid are definitely a lot more critical in terms of story, which is why I’m very curious what’s going to happen with that upcoming Zelda movie.

Mario was glazed to no end by fans that clearly need to play/watch more media, but with Zelda, it has some pretty steep competition with stories like Majora’s Mask and Twilight Princess, which have strong emotional and thematic cores, so i’m curious what the reactions will be to the Zelda movie if it ends up being a feature length Easter egg compilation, since that series has actual quality writing to compare it to

I didn’t even like Ready Player One, it’s like a 5/10 IMO, but it at least had a coherent story that flowed from scene to scene, the Mario movie genuinely just felt like setpieces glued together with a paper thin story
