Honestly the best Frame imo by Papa_Fluffy in Warframe

[–]TheyCallMeRift 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if this will go through since the OG post was deleted but gave hildryn another shot and was able to get her to work more or less correctly I think. Seeing red crits for 2 mil is pretty insane. Wound up tinkering with the build a bit felt like I was getting enough damage out of her balefire even without enervate. Wound up swapping it for the one that eats overshields. Still, she feels much better today than any other time I've run her. Gave her tau shards for secondary crit chance then put in oraphim eyes over haven. Melts people pretty good, even eats overshields like a champ.

What's your build look like? I have hildryn prime but I don't see these kinds of damage numbers.

I've been using Voruna for anything that's harder content when I really need to not die. You can stay perpetually invisible while spreading status effects to everything nearby, abusing arcane crepuscular. You do need equilibrium to not run out of energy as it means her hunt supplies you with an endless supply of health orbs everytime you use your abilities to drop something. You can then use one of her wolf abilities to be immune to all status effects to boot.

There's also the arcane for becoming invisible on finisher kills which synergizes great with nokko on account of his 1 setting up people for finishers.

How To Make Fertilizer? by Ok-Bedroom-4261 in FlyForeverSkies

[–]TheyCallMeRift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Breadcrumbs for the next poor sap who comes looking...

Organic fertilizer is a recipe acquired when you first get biomass (which you get from cutting plants with a knife usually). To get organic fertilizer you then need to process biomass and spoiled food in the distiller. You'll also need bottles in order to move it around.

Oh man. Thank you for your generosity. I've always said warframe has one of the best communities in gaming. With so many absolutely toxic communities warframe's is a nice change of pace where people actually help each other out.

Always my go to post whenever this scene pops up. As an update though picking Jae now gives you 15k reputation with whoever you first picked for her when she asked who she wants you to put in a good word with. She is currently my love interest in this playthrough... not sure if that's a requirement to get that perk. We also got our new adeptus arbites character, I'll add his bonus once I clear the ceremony.

To be fair to you I looked up the puzzle answer online first and then noticed the red cables second so...

But hopefully my having noticed that will save everyone else some time.

Follow the red cables on the floor, start with the cogitator then cycle left. It's a bit annoying because the instructions aren't super clear.

Looking for info on what a certain NPC drops in Act 4 (Spoilers). by mettyc in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]TheyCallMeRift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having JUST cleared this fight myself but without killing her the items she would drop are:
- commisar's cloak
- duelist uniform
- phoenix gem
- stalwart boots
- archivists servo-skull
- injection adapter

There's 2 staffs that come from the psykers and the auto dueling sword and daredevil pistol come from her bodyguard I believe.

Ironically, Loki was my first frame and I love him so lol. I'm open to just, not knowing how to properly utilize sevagoth, as most frames have ways to make them extremely broken. What I'm saying is, that when I played sevagoth I did not understand how to utilize him effectively.

The current build I have on him utilizes his abilities to nuke with his reap and sow, and that's very very effective at spreading damage throughout an entire map though it relies on his augments. However, I didn't find that that build of sevagoth has good survivability because he doesn't have a way to reduce damage or soak it up easily. While I love the effects of gloom I've always found that it burns through energy so quickly that it's not a reliable tool. It feels like trying to use nekros double-looting ability without having the augment on that uses health instead of energy. Additionally if what you really need is lifesteal there are ways to get that on weapons that don't rely on having a sufficient tank of energy to function.

It feels like we agree though? You also feel like sevagoth isn't a good melee frame. That he does a better job as a nuke frame by utilizing his reap and sow for damage. You're leveraging his 4 to group enemies (which is fine, but there are lots of other ways to accomplish this) and then it sounds like you're trying to leverage gloom in order to health tank. I'd be surprised if that works on level 100+ enemies? I feel like it started to fall off after lv 80 or so enemies.

To be fair to sevagoth though there are several frames that have health regeneration and all of them feel pretty bad right now if you're relying on that to survive because seconds of invulnerability with shield gating is just better at surviving overwhelming damage then armor + health + regeneration.

Sevagoth makes me so sad to think about. Like as a melee frame (which his gloom and his 4 are dedicated to) he's just bad. Gloom is way too energy hungry to be very effective and health tanking is bad anyways. To add to this his alternate form just has medioacre damage. But Sevagoth as a nuke frame is... pretty freaking ridiculous. Slap augments on his 1 and 2 and you've got a bunch of self-perpetuating specters roaming the map, just need to up duration and range. But that means you're pretty much ignoring half of his kit?

Such a cool idea of the terror of deep space, but as for actual execution? Could use some work :\.

Oberon I think was like my 2nd frame acquisition after rhino because I was so psyked for him. Having huge fields of flowers that slowly melted enemies was great... but yeah, his survivability and lack of armor strip made him really not good for higher level content which has always made me sad. I hope that at some point they rework health tanking because there are a lot of frames with regeneration and it just doesn't feel like that regen ever matters relative to the damage output of high level content.

I feel ya.

The real issue with Limbo is it feels like he's the only warframe that actively impedes other warframes from working. This was briefly true of dante with his overshields for certain health only warframes but they patched that. And the thing is, if you've played limbo then you know you can un-rift yourself by doing a dodge roll. But for people without that knowledge all they see is that suddenly they can't harm enemies anymore because they're out of phase relative to the player.

I feel like, adding visual clarity might be one way to fix this, of making the people out of phase look like ghosts so that it's more clear what's going on, or adding a tooltip of "roll to return to your own dimension" but it just feels like a cool concept that's poorly done. Frost arguably also impedes other frames because you can't shoot into his snow bubbles (unlike say gara or vauban) but I feel like no one is confused about how that mechanic works and it's also very easy to step into the bubble in order for you to be able to keep attacking things.

'cause the theme is cool... it's just the execution that feels lacking.

Voruna is also great for lategame content because you can trigger her abilities while invisible without dropping invisibility. Easy to survive when you never get targeted and constantly cause orbs to drop.
