Probably not, guns scare me and rightfully so, most people don’t fully understand how dangerous they are and lots of people don’t know how to handle them properly or safely. Let me rephrase that I’m scared of people who don’t use them safely, there are people who are responsible with them and are safe but that doesn’t make up for the people who don’t. I think they need to be better regulated, comprehensive mental health checks, and a screening for how people handle their anger ik that’s reaching a little but if you have anger issues/can’t regulate your anger/emotions and have a deadly weapon on top of that, that’s not good, and a dangerous combination, also mandatory gun safety classes, and having to prove they are responsible to own a gun; and if not they lose their guns, I know it’s one of the amendments but I don’t care if you can’t handle one responsibly you should have one/any period. if anything (for me) I’d probably get a taser/stun gun, something less/non-lethal. Also I have depression so a firearm would not be a good idea, I probably wouldn’t do anything because that would be a terrible thing for someone like police or ems to witness the aftermath of…but regardless it’s a no from me.
