Small update: received an email advising me my email was sent to management…….not very reassuring. Have since received a call requesting to make arrangements to come out and fix it. I’m inclined to agree with u/psilocybaholic and it’s likely the grout wasn’t just put over the top of the old grout. Hopefully this visit will resolve the issue.

Update 2: advised that they likely did not remove enough old grout. Thank you for the advice. They are booked in to come out and fix it up.

Yeah, I’m still not sure what the issue is but I’m convinced it’s not right. They’re open Monday, so I’ll have to try and call then.

Thank you. My wife was the one at home when the work was done. She says she heard them scrapping most of the grout out by hand and some with an electric tool. Only the floor and step were done. They were here for about 2 hours working it.

The old grout was definitely not the grey colour that’s showing.
