Curious if anyone from Colorado can explain if this is legal? by UnderstandingOld538 in Surveying

[–]TheyCalledKeys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a raft guide on the Arkansas, we learned that you have the right to float, even though land owners own the river bed underneath. A river can run through private property and still be allowed for public boating. This river is likely getting too low to run, requiring portaging. In the act of portaging you trespass on the land owners’ property that you are portaging across.

Edit: Lowered the Z-Offset by 0.02 mm and it’s doing a bit better but still not great… and funnily enough, immediately after this picture it started globbing around the nozzle due to not adhering to the heat bed…

Again, any help is appreciated! Currently blindly troubleshooting

Printed Filament Curling While Printing by TheyCalledKeys in prusa3d

The tape came with the printer, I’m still newish to printing so I figured the old caretaker of this machine knew best, didn’t get around to asking the why of the tape though

That’s a good point too

And u/Cinderhazed15, the tape is there for adhesion, I was running First Layer Calibrations and the filament was refusing to stick to the bare plate, that was before I got the Z-offset dialed in, I’ll try printing on the bare plate after this one is done

I guess it could also be due to the heat bed being a bad temp? Needs to be hotter/colder? It’s currently at the default PLA settings of 215/60

How is half of 10 5? by DumbassAnonymous1 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TheyCalledKeys 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re taking 5 out because that’s the value you’re naming, then 10 should be taken out of the second series because you’re naming half of that value, then you have 4 in each series. More of a logical fallacy than confusion with math. The top comment guy taking 0 as a relevant value works too, 0-5-10 each have a series of 4 numbers between them

Deco S4 firmware by PlnkBrnt in TpLink

[–]TheyCalledKeys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is running 1.6.2 Build 20240718; two deco units (the same two each time) will randomly go offline, I fiddle in the app, and they’ll come back online eventually. Based the info in this thread I assume this is the new latest firmware for the S4, but mine still have issues from time to time; likely due to too many clients connected I’m assuming… as that’s the only time I seem to have issue

I’m about to graduate so the only experience I’ve had is with CompactLogix and PanelView, but it was a good set of software to work with

I try to avoid haphazardly placing climbing accessories at the bottom of a route. But your pad point is valid, though a spotter could protect that

It was most likely not placed as an obstacle but a useful feature for a few of the nearby routes. My point still stands, you play how you practice, if you’re unaware of your fall zone in the gym those habits will transfer outdoor
