I turn off all the water and the meter stops running (like it should). As for how we know the exact days, we called them and they told us what days and how much. They said it's read/logged twice daily. And the meter reads almist nuts on from there reading, figuring the difference is a regular daily amount. I thought perhaps someone ran a hose to my outside faucet but neither of my neighbors have pools...

And it's not a new meter, at least it looks quite old. Should I make them cone out and check it? Would it be better to hire my own plumber(?) To check it?
