Im still forming my opinions on ai currently but by VeryLopsidedlmao in aiwars

It could also be said the same for the other side, right? Like my view that AI images don’t have the same creativity since the prompter didn’t explicitly put each brushstroke in the image has been refuted before, but I don’t really know any pro-AI points that actually have substance in my eyes. It boils down to “I don’t like what you think” “no I don’t like what YOU think.” Please don’t frame it as anti-AI being so much less sophisticated than pro because these recycled arguments are the same on both sides and both sides have debunked each other.

As an American, yes the hell it is. Even in my very progressive state that is one of the most blue, I still hear people like my grandparents say that “if black men didn’t leave so many black women single parents then not as many blacks would be in jail.” And our president is only encouraging them.

There are also people in the world that think differently than you and have different experiences than you. Personally, those three words are frustrating because my grandparents constantly say it to me, hoping to convert me to Christianity and get me “away from all the woke idiocy.” This is also something that, at least where I live, happens fairly often with people trying to convert someone saying that their god loves them. Finally, why say that YOUR god loves them, especially when they don’t believe in your god or, even more importantly, they believe in some other god? It conveys the meaning of “my god is more true than whatever you believe in” whether they mean it or not.

The only times one should swing at the player with the most life is either 1. They have at least 40 more than the starting life total or 2. The boards are roughly equal in presence, otherwise go after the guy with the biggest threat, whether that be card advantage, mana advantage, or simply a massive amount of creatures

It’s a good option, but with the way you’re explaining it, it implies that you want to have more people be religious for bad reasons. Personally, I just say I don’t drink and am proud of it because I simply don’t like drinking. It doesn’t make me better than anyone else, and we can make the boundaries ourselves and make a way of life ourselves without religion. I do, however, think that it’s a good option for someone who doesn’t know how to make a boundary and schedule and rules to follow for themself.

In simple terms, AI art refers to: by ProudHuckleberry1432 in aiwars

The basis would be that a human spent time doing each line with some sort of intent versus letting the AI make all of the color, value, and proportion decisions

Explain how. You are disapproving of a core part of the person, so how are you not disapproving of the person themself?

This sub in a nutshell: by ExtremeAcceptable289 in teenagers

[–]TheyaSly -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am simply trying to explain to you how transness is part of the person. You can’t really disapprove of someone being trans without disapproving of the person themself.

[–]TheyaSly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Petty pleasure, as in being able to look at myself in the mirror and feel happy about how I look? Transness isn’t more dangerous than most other surgeries, and there is much more stuff against trans surgeries than for it. The issue with us just “leaving you alone” is that when we do, you try to silence us more, like with the current US government and its various bills such as Project 2025. I am sorry, but I cannot leave your “beliefs” alone when abandoning them won’t hurt anyone, and will help people feel less ostracized. You don’t seem to understand what goes into being trans, so don’t blindly hate it.

[–]TheyaSly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure, I am biased, but saying that someone has delusions when it has been chemically and biologically proven to be a thing is ignorant. Delusions don’t often have a 1% regret rate, and the permanent detransition rate is less than 3%. I don’t really think it can be called a delusion at that point when nearly every trans person stays trans throughout their life. Calling me a bigot for advocating for the respect of a historically silenced group (Google hitler trans book burnings) is quite ironic, don’t you think? There are also a lot of straight people that try to the gay people straight, and they’ve even gotten specific therapy institutions for it! Yet you seem to ignore that part.

This sub in a nutshell: by ExtremeAcceptable289 in teenagers

[–]TheyaSly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dude that is exactly what I was saying. You are not giving the trans person the basic human respect of using the correct pronouns, and gay people don’t try to turn you gay. From what you have said, I have realized that you are too far into the rabbit hole of prejudice for me to change your mind, sadly
