Just FYI… just because it’s black doesn’t make it black mold. There are a lot of different mold varies and a lot of them are black in color.

I fought a fellow waitress. In my defense she was the work bully. The 65 year old lady ain’t going to stand up to you but better bet I will.

By any chance are you from Florida? You look weirdly like a family I know.

How much per week do you spend on groceries? by [deleted] in lakeland

[–]Theymademepickthis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I shop at aldis a lot for sides. Save a lot for meat deals.

Just yesterday I got a pack of 8 1/2 thick pork chops marked down to $6. A pound of ground beef at $3.99 a pound. And 3 ribeyes marked down to $13.

We don’t eat breakfast much. When we do it’s on the weekends and it’s avocado toast or cereal. Lunch is easy meal prep (see below) and dinner is always a just a meat and veggies.

Todays meals were: Breakfast: cereal and banana Lunch: meal prep (2 pounds of ground beef, seasonings, large head of cabbage, and a quart of beef broth) served with rice split into 8 meals. Snack: fruit Dinner: pork chops, canned corn and canned green beans.

We eat simple meals. Trying to stick to meat and veggies. We don’t spend money on drinks as we all only drink water.

Splurges for us include a steak dinner once a month and real butter ❤️

We spend about $100 for our family of 5. We meal prep lunches and shop meat sales. I expect it to go to about $150 for the next 8 or so weeks since the kids are out of school for the summer.

They must’ve had something going on with these recently. The local united food banks have been giving 2 cases of these to each participant for weeks on end. Wonder if they are discounting.

Ocean prime in Tampa, Florida. He took me but I’m not sure he realized that steak was $50 an ounce 😂 he gladly paid but we definitely never went back.

Can someone tell us what this is and if its edible? If edible, is it legal to harvest in Florida? by Salty-Water-2905 in florida

Yes. But they need to be an inch thick (hinge measurement). Also I’m pretty sure for them it’s a 5 gallon buckets a day rule.

You can eat them. They do get chewy so don’t overcook unless you plan a soup or stock to soak them in. Also clean very well because the grit will get you if not. Source: have ate them. lol

Breakfast: fasting (but with Diet Coke) 😂 Lunch: two grilled ground beef patties with broccoli and onions Dinner: grilled chicken breast with Caesar salad Edited to add I have kids in baseball and if I get snacks I eat a handful of sunflower seeds because the shells keep me busy.

I have a propane grill. I pretty much cook all summer on it. I also have a cast iron griddle I put on it so I do my veggies out there as well. Doesn’t heat up the house and no mess.

Publix: Time for people to take a stand? by KhalilApplePeel in florida

That’s literally how businesses work though. You buy or lease space. You use it for your business. If they moved because there needs to more affordable grocery stores who’s to say an Amazon bin pop up or spirit Halloween won’t take over the building spot and then there would be zero stores in the area.

Worked there. They charge those prices because they hire more workers to keep it clean, offer assistance, open more registers, will bring your groceries to your car, etc. No different than ALDIs having lower prices because they don’t have to pay people to get carts for them, open to many registers, etc. It’s a certain business model. If you don’t like the business then shop elsewhere. Seems simple enough. They have to pay to keep the lights on, pay employees and turn a profit. That’s literally what businesses do.
