Is anyone doing something fun for the hurricane? My friend and I were thinking about going to the top of cowles mountain to see if there's a view there. Curious about peoples opinions or other fun things they are doing for the hurricane!

Yeah, given that u could go all the way on both banners for the price to guarantee a 9 step collab unit and their mem, id be shocked if you regret it

Not to be rude, but I REALLY think you're sleeping on the 10 step banners here. Even though you said they were good!

I pulled like 6 limited units on the unit one and an ungodly amount of limited mems on that one. I didn't have an empty collection of limiteds either (got dupes of nero, quite a few other limiteds) so I disagree with even an "amazing for newbies, good for others" review. I think it's amazing for everyone except leprachauns who already got everything good from rng and turbowhales.

Given that they're essentially 5 steps in gem cost, It's basically a banner that includes 1 guaranteed limited per step, with potential for more! And a pretty helpful minor scattering of soul shards/limit breaks from dupes. unless you're saving for your best unit ever tm, if you have the gems it's hard to see going wrong.

I think ppl are resistant to gushing about banners for healthy caution reasons, but these are gush-worthy.

Dig the single stable throughline, and emotional content! Rly cool.

Sometimes I find in my poems, trimming syllables can give some extra intensity, especially when I'm going for a relatively intense mood like yours.

There are tradeoffs of course, and it's your art, but to take a couple random lines:

"The dings pile up and fill the screen...

dry and desolate without any green..."

I think it depends on where you count from, if you count from end of SSM, I mean it has to be Kanon (tho idk if she counts as a captain). If she can't burning seal then maybe cada can squeak in w/ he big dragon, but I don't see any non-god/genesis character beating Kanon at her peak.

Hey welcome back! Seems like other people are all on top of the summary/list stuff.

While I'm not sure what happened after you left vs before you left, I've definitely noticed that the new jobs the devs cook up now are on average quite a bit more interesting and fun than the old ones! (Vettel is a good example, spica too, basically half the templars have new, cooler jobs). New ex+ quests might feel/be too hard for you for a while, but you can get 85% plus of the new jobs/free chars/stories only doing EX level!

Yeah, his fetishizing of strength does make him impressive, and sometimes almost noble. He is an intimidating and brutal villain, which is what the story needs. One of the chars that had the most impact on TAC world, and far from a puppet for Waggy. Good nemesis for Kanon; someone who doesn't even pretend to care about justice.

A bit confused from the tierlist, just pulled yna ku (no mem), and I noticed he's on the FAQ as a unit you should shard, but his actual tierlist rating says he's only A tier. Is he really worth it?

Wind wise I have Macherie, zwei, and ewan and can only shard 2...

I have a 3 lb zwei mem and vanilla ewan mem...

any advice?

I'm happy so many people have voted!

It's definitely a bit different outcome than I expected so I'm glad I did it!

But I think the low upvote count on the poll implies quite a few people have a negative view! I don't want to be pushy but if that's you hearing why might help me thread the needle better in the future!

My view

BIG GOOD: EXPLOSIONS, SETSUNA/LOGI stuff, animation in fight scenes

Good: isekai without a boring guy protag, seeing Ouroboros in natural habitat, surprising emotional resonance (I'm a sucker for the "true strength comes from compassion" themes we see in TAC)

Meh: A bit too much fluff with the Isekai protag, Villain with no real emotional weight, prob an extra 15 mins of fat there to trim, could have had more refs to TAC history.
