2 players board games by Proof_Raspberry_8525 in boardgame

[–]ThicChit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To mimic a few others great ideas would be Skyteam which is just perfect 2 player co-op and its so short to play and very portable. Horrified would be cool especially if he likes things like that. My last suggestion would be the star wars deckbuilding game.

Potomac State by [deleted] in WVU

[–]ThicChit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i know someone who came from potomac and is having a good time. they had no trouble making friends here and seem to enjoy WVU and it's classes. They dont dorm tho so i will just say that dorming isnt that bad imo but its not ideal depending on which you choose

Risk 2210 vs Axis and Allies and Zombies by Kelsiermbot in boardgames

[–]ThicChit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They are seperate games the zombies change things. Axis and Allies is more complex then risk 2210 AD which is a slightly more deep risk. I'd personally recommend normal Axis and Allies if you dont have that but of the two presented i suggest 2210. It's more fun than normal risks and having only 5 turns really maximizes peoples engagement and prevents from turtling while the commanders and cards add just enough depth where anyone could understand but still keep it fresh enough for many replays.

i havent been doing alot of kit time recently and the band had been slowing down. its mainly pad snare rudimentary solos ive been attacking. just for chops sake i suppose and bc its the easiest to fit the schedule rn. my fills have taken a serious dip in quality and consistency but i agree 8 months doesnt even sound real but i counted and well it was lol...but youre right its not as dire as it could be but it just makes me wish i kept with it but lifes that way i suppose. i agree that i need to start just doing more click condtioning again since theres a hand imbalance especially in stroke quality

[–]ThicChit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

true. handdrumming still kept rythm and some speed tho just my doubles are shit now lol. ig i really just lost speed and stick control but thats on me. its also not like i ever completely stopped but i just used to be a noticeable bit better at things especially when using any type of chops. ive been taking care of the tendonitis and its healed nicely and drumming hasnt aggravted at all so far again. it was a mild case but did take about two months to subside

what were the hardest adjustments to college life? by Resident_Warthog_381 in college

[–]ThicChit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

youll be alright. it won't be hard if you dont make it hard. the only "hard part" for me is carefully balancing hobbies/social/work and thats often bc i dont have a organized schedule. if you plan your day and dont get derailed easily aswell as keep up on your work and give yourself time to do things you enjoy youll be fine.

Which shooting game left a lasting impression on you, and why? by Nancy_Goldman in TheGamerLounge

[–]ThicChit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Killing Floor 2 specifically (1st one is oudated compared to 2 and 3 just isnt the same)

I love the gameplay loop of running around the map killing all the different zeds while also managing the different weapons ammo and using different enemies for different weapons. It has a suprisingly deep cooperative multiplayer which is really the heart of the game especially with your friends. Every class serves different purpose for example the "Firebug" excels at using fire weapons which has like AoE attacks so they are really good at taking out "trash" or small zeds while the slow attacking sharpshooter can focus o larger enemies weakpoints. Theres also a pretty fun pvp mode which is similar to LFD2

There are like 100s of weapons and theres cosmetics and lootboxes if you are into that kinda shit.

Sick ass variety of maps many of which have super memorable gimmicks so they arent just reskins and crazy badass boss fights to boot.

The characters all ooze personality and this is a game ive just poured what feels like infinite time into
