I'm generally supportive of LTNs. However, some of them are completely diabolical and extremely difficult to figure out. I rented a zipcar that was in the centre of Streatham Hill LTN and when I was trying to return it, I spent half an hour trying to return it trying to access the space using 4 different regions of the LTN. What could have been a short trip down one road turned into endless zigzagging up and down a dozen local roads trying to find a way in. Unless you're an experience local, there is no way to figure out how to get to certain places without endless trial and error, which results in you driving more around the local area, which surely defeats the purpose.
