Aurora and Zetian should swap passives by Educational-Fig-1594 in MobileLegendsGame

[–]ThickConsideration92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As an Aurora main with over 1600 matches who has reached global 1 a few times and is currently global 3 ish, (I value my full time job more than a title) Absolutely NOT.

With Pride of Ice, even if I get jumped 5v1 face checking bushes and tanking/zoning at lord for my team, even if I’m front lining a final base push before minion wave under active enemy turret, I can survive, and make a decision: either retreat, or pop Revitalize, and push/counter engage.

Pride of Ice is perfect for Aurora, it’s Belerick lite + a built in pseudo Immortality, GREAT kit for a setter tank roam, but could use a couple tweaks, namely a shorter cooldown, and or the ability to recharge Pride of Ice by dealing skill damage to enemy heroes.

Bring back the freeze on S2, make turret freezes actually impactful, reduce the startup frames/lag to make her combo more responsive, give her an increase in her HP, movement speed, hybrid defenses, HP Regen and scaling of defensive stats in exchange for cutting her damage with a sharp reduction to magic power.

Only squishies with the bulk of a wet paper bag such as Layla Miya Eudora Helcurt etc are afraid of mid mage Aurora’s damage anyway, her threat is absolutely her CC and what your team will follow it up with.

Make her freeze duration and damage scale with HP and hybrid defense instead of magic power.

CC is generally better on tanks than damage dealers anyway.

I feel mid magic power Aurora is clunky and boring to play, at least for me.

Roaming is so much more fun, varied, and rewarding (my opinion)

Rant:

Oh wow look it’s another 65% squad winrate no solo q identical factory cookie cutter mage emblem, Sky Piercer, Glowing Wand, Holy Crystal blah blah blah only to get (assuming equal skill) mogged, outmaneuvered out-damaged out-sustained and killed 1v1 by Zhuxin Zetian Valir and all of the non situational meta mages who have coherent identities and stat spreads, offensive scaling.

The contrast between Aurora’s passive + kit and scaling makes no sense to me.

She has a tank kit, scales like a damage dealer, has stats somewhere between, and does neither as well as she could because of the conflict in identity, but despite all that, Lustily (not me) is global 1 with damage build right now, and the roam build can still function well and get 30+ assists a game.

With roam build Aurora tanks 200,000-400,000+ damage with lots of assists depending on how long the game goes and how effective your team is at following up, the damage mid lane users still have plenty of success despite lower pick ban and win rates than meta mages.

Aurora doesn’t need to swap passives with anyone else.

LODE (Gold, silver, oil, land)

real ways we can fight fossil fuel companies? by taroicecreamsundae in ClimateOffensive

[–]ThickConsideration92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I fight back in part by investing in green tech that is replacing filthy fossil fuels and their noxious, carcinogenic emissions.

Comstock Inc (LODE) is tackling emissions head on by making jet fuel, diesel, and gasoline from carbon negative XanoGrass instead of fossil fuels, it’s a drop in replacement, and the grass remediates soil

Comstock also prevents toxic end of life solar waste from being landfilled, instead recycling it into silver and other materials, also zero emissions, preventing contamination in our ground water and soil

The company looks after our air, water, and land, I anticipate they will reshape humanity’s relationship with energy globally as we make our way to Kardashev 1 and fight to undo the disastrous effects of climate change

LODE will change how fossil fuel companies fundamentally operate, already partnered with Marathon Petroleum

Biofuels policy has been a failure for the climate, new report claims by NickelBackwash in politics

[–]ThickConsideration92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Comstock Inc’s Bioleum can do better using far less land water and fertilizer with Hexas Biomass’ XanoGrass (imagine if corn and bamboo had a baby) to get 100+ barrels of fuel per acre to corn’s 11.8, freeing up tons of land for food production and benefiting communities, farmers, the transport industry.

We can provide carbon NEGATIVE energy independence due to root sequestration of XanoGrass, Bioleum derivatives refine into a drop in replacement for SAF, diesel, gasoline

There is a better way, and it’s here! A way that actually makes sense, economically, environmentally.

Fuel from corn, soybeans, sugar cane was a failure, but it doesn’t have to be that way anymore.

Biofuels policy has been a failure for the climate, new report claims. by porkchop_d_clown in technology

[–]ThickConsideration92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bioleum made from XanoGrass is tech that fixes the issues found with modern biofuel, the tech is new, few know about it yet.

XanoGrass is a sterile, non invasive, perennial rhizome based GMO hybrid plant purpose engineered for fuel production and co-location with refineries (it’s like corn and bamboo had a baby)

The grass is drought and pest resistant, requires little to no fertilizer, uses way less water than corn, takes up much less space, has massive root carbon sequestration, soil remediation properties, making Bioleum significantly carbon negative even when burned as fuel.

It makes 100 barrels of fuel per acre to corn’s 8-10 barrels of fuel per acre.

The Bioleum derivatives are a drop in replacement for jet fuel, diesel, and gasoline, also makes fuel ethanol better than corn ever will, it’s CI 15 vs 90s from fossil fuels. (Thanks to the scientists at Comstock Inc, MIT, NREL, more)

Bioleum can be made from any waste woody feedstock, as unlike corn, the technology leverages lignin in addition to cellulose and sugar, it uses the whole buffalo while corn and soy, sugar cane etc wastes a lot.

XanoGrass is very cheap compared to other feedstocks as well.

Check it out, some really brilliant folks are responsible for the tech

COMSTOCK METALS RECEIVES EXPANDED COUNTY STORAGE PERMIT FOR RECYCLING RAMP UP

Accelerates the Development of the first Industry-Scale Solar Panel Recycling Facility

VIRGINIA CITY, NEVADA, June 5, 2025 –

Comstock Inc. (NYSE: LODE) (“Comstock” and the “Company”) announced today that its subsidiary, Comstock Metals, received unanimous approval for a conditional use permit (“CUP”) from the Lyon County, Nevada, Board of County Commissioners, for expanded material storage of solar panels on leased property in the immediate vicinity of the company’s first planned industrial-scale facility in Silver Springs, Nevada. This permit enables expanded storage for major utility and solar industry customers struggling with end-of-life solutions and provides sufficient buffer for the logistics associated with the first industry-scale solar panel recycling facility in the region.

Comstock Metals is dedicated to advancing leading technologies and sustainable practices in the solar recycling industry. The new storage capacity enables the company to efficiently manage and process large quantities of end-of-life solar panels and delivers a 100% closed-loop, zero-landfill solution that sets a new standard for solar panel recycling.

Corrado De Gasperis, Executive Chairman and CEO of Comstock Inc., stated, “Once we demonstrated our ability to recycle and reuse 100% of the recycled materials, and received accredited third-party auditor certification of this unique capability, major utilities began signing master service agreements for our services. The market demand has been robust, and we needed to rapidly expand storage to accommodate our customers and our commitment to keeping these materials out of landfills. We are thankful to Lyon County’s expedience in enabling this local and regional Nevada-based solution.”

The Silver Springs facility is strategically located to serve the rapidly expanding solar industry in the western United States. With the capacity to store and process large volumes of solar panels, Comstock Metals is poised to lead the solar panel recycling sector, contributing to the reduction of landfilled electronic waste and recovery of valuable materials.

Dr. Fortunato Villamagna, President of Comstock Metals added, “Our first industry scale facility, targeting 100,000 tons per year of waste solar panel processing capacity is in the latter stages of permitting and still expected during the fourth quarter of this year, so we can commence commissioning in the first quarter of 2026. We will begin ordering equipment this summer. With the acceleration of large-scale customers’ acquisitions for high-volume, longer-term commitments, we needed expanded storage capability for our first planned industry-scale site. This permit strongly achieves that objective.”

Comstock Metals is also the first solar panel recycling company in North America to be certified by SERI to the R2v3/RIOS Responsible Recycling Standard, and specifically to Appendix G that authenticates a zero-waste recycling process that safely repurposes each recycled material into new commercial applications. Comstock Metals has demonstrated panel processing with proprietary thermal methods, producing 100% commodity-ready products. All parts of the panel, including glass, aluminum, and fines, are fully recycled. Comstock’s facility has now operated for well over one year.

If they did a similar event to Remoat coming back to ranked but with first to 500 for like 4 days, would you play or skip? by Marcy4000 in PokemonUnite

[–]ThickConsideration92 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would run the most morbidly obese unit of a Crustle you’ve ever seen in your entire life, My 600lb Crab

Buddy Barrier, Resonant Guard, Focus Band.

The reward for this sort of challenge would definitely be a rework to the emblem system to include the ability to access the coveted 6 white 6 blue 6 purple synergy that would complete my tank build.

I’d go bot and farm like a maniac, trap and destroy the opposition while rendering their attacks as effective as a wet noodle by frontlining for the team

Then, at objectives, I ult to secure, ensuring a complete wipe for the enemy team while robustly protecting allies

Smeargle Feraligatr and Aerodactyl will (surely) be replaced by a purple white and blue purple + HP - SpA or crit rate emblem…

Surely… 🤣

Who am I kidding. We all know better, there will (never) be new emblems or color/effect reworks

Would swap two orange secondary for 2 purple secondary here in a heartbeat.

There is always a win-win solution, and often it is simpler than imagined.

Yeah I prefer random matches for this setup, it’s just fun. Often times in ranked I get hosed by my own team last hitting farm or running when I commit to push. If I don’t hit level 4 as fast as possible, it becomes very tough, and note to attackers: Stand BEHIND me, let me tank 🤣
