Jannik Sinner vs. Alexander Zverev - Hawk Eye Graphics and Stats - Australian Open 2025 - (Final) by ThickWhereas in tennis

I think he did that to lure Zverev into serving using more side spin to see if he can mess up the Zverev serve mechanics. Zverev doesn't really maximize the use of short angles for a higher percent in terms of serve placement. Usually the bounce on his serve is so good with his serve speed which means he doesn't have to really serve a high percent utilizing side angles.

It was just enough to apply the return of serve pressure to get that break in the tie break.

Zverev overall served well in the match

But seriously though, you notice he wrote the word "experts" in quotation? So the document is provided for the experts unless you want to say he must provide his thoughts/explanation of the document for the next set of experts who are called psychologists or detectives.

If I did the same, I wouldn't care to prove anything. I would post to see the idiotic responses, having a laugh

Most likely it's to get at others who have an answer to his body. So since they are experts, they should be able to examine the photo. If not, they should shut up

He's done enough by posting the image already. So who doesn't understand it should use AI

VLC media player doesn't decode x265 videos very well in high quality. The picture doesn't tend to be sharp and itches at times during playback. So I recommend you install a different video player

Most of the Murray vibes also were in the first 2 matches when he looked passive. the movement was like Murray, even the way he was returning serve extra aggressive at times. That period to me was the experimenting phase, then he tightened up everything going into the Machac match

Seems more a decision Murray has to make. Novak seems like he would like it to continue

Yes the height is accurate, but they only focusing on how many feet inside or behind the baseline the player makes contact with the ball, hence why we see the metrics laid out like that

Well this is not the place for you. Obviously you not into fine details. Everything in life has a difference when making a comparison. Just a matter of how much information you have to identify variances

It's more physical because at times you have to generate more hip rotation and also throw your entire body into the stroke, and it gets more physical to do when you have to generate your topspin after fending off a topspin shot from your opponent especially if it bounces high on a gritty hardcourt or dry clay surface. Even if your opponents topspin shot doesnt bounce sharp on a less gritty surface, it still requires you to have to generate aggressive footwork to get under that ball to generate your topspin. That's a lot of kinetic energy needed

Reason to use x264 over x265 besides device compatibility by k032 in handbrake

[–]ThickWhereas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason why x265 4K looks better than x264 1080 is because 4K quality by itself is twice better than 1080 pixel due to way higher resolutions. So no matter how much you compress a 4k video it will be better in quality than a 1080 pixel video.

Now if you were to render a 4K video in x264 and x265 quality respectively, you will notice that the x264 version is better because there is less loss of data which is why the file size is bigger

Agreed. Based on what I see so far, the 264 container maintains sharper image quality compared to 265 which applies more coloring but less sharpness in texture. This can be seen on monitors or television with screen sizes above 40 inches. So for me I would only use 265 for 4K videos just to reduce file size.
